Following her lead with furrowed eyebrows, he did his utmost to act as though he had a shred of a clue as to what he was doing. Flicking off a switch, and soon flicking away another, when he tried to open the headset, but to no avail. Of course, while he thought he understood her instruction, he was blatantly mistaken when he found himself giving the device a little pry and wiggle, achieving results in a more barbaric way. Surely, a little rough-housing with the system wouldn't do too much damage, yeah? He supposed he'd see the results -- should he have caused any harm to the software or reading -- when he entered the game.
While his mind was circling over trivial thoughts of his childhood and the notion of videogames, he abruptly pulled himself into reality that moment he realized his eyes were covered and the game began to load. "Para.. Bellum," he mouthed as he was sucked into a digital world. "Here we go."
Never playing a MMORPG before, the blond was undoubtedly new when it came to the sudden exposure. Admittedly, overwhelmed by the introductions, settings, and sudden rushes of different graphics and scenery, he felt provoked to skip whatever he could until he managed to reach the actual game. That essentially meant he was forcing himself into an unknown world without the slightest clue as to what he was diving into, but the rather impulsive man he was, the thought never dawned on him. After his flood of "skip's," "okay's," and an another blur of cityscape that pissed him off, he clumsily fell into what appeared like a hotel with a randomized outfit and username.
"Great," he monotonously spoke to no one in particular, which was a fairly accurate description considering there wasn't a soul he cared for around. With only neon lights illuminating the pure white suit he was donned in, he glanced absentmindedly in the direction of the beams, registering he was overlooking what he assumed was the city. "Hmph," he breathed, before realizing how his hands were moving naturally.
Like someone who was able to move his limbs for the first time, in a daze, he moved random parts of his body from head to sole. As though he still had trouble believing the hunk of machinery he pried open was able to sync with his brain with such a manner, he began testing out sporadic movements to the point where he even began jumping down the dimly lit hall he was within.
Before he knew it, he was sprinting with a twitch of a smirk tugging at the corner of his lips, almost invigorated and thrilled by the ability of a mere headset. Presenting a foreign demeanor that was similar to that of a child's, he wanted to get the ball rolling as soon as he could, almost succumbing to his excitement for the real start of the game. "This is pretty fuckin' nea--.." Abruptly coming to a halt, he paused when he not only found himself in a new section of wherever he was, but before his client.
"Minako," he voiced as a greeting in his usual, dismissive tone. Composing himself, he stretched absentmindedly as he continued, "Let's go."
