Turns out I really like DJ War Crimes and his weird little relationship with the Cuttlefish family. Drawing that last one was a mistake cause it made me think of my own grandpa and I got emotional over my drawing tablet would not recommend.

Craig Cuttlefish knows that bit's a lie. He loves a good argument, same as anyone else! But that was more about silly things, like what to have for supper or wether his ties actually matched the rest of his outfit. This kind of argument, though, that was rarer.
"-I just don't think that's the kinda fight ya can win, sport. Cut your losses for a bit, take a break, all that jazz. Sides, I don't think that O.R.C.A can be shot."

some basic ideas i've had:
Cuttlefish's cooky silliness is mostly used to help new Agents feel at ease with him, and to make sure that Callie and Marie don't worry too much about him.
Callie and Marie's parents were adopted by him, as opposed to being birth children ( he adopted them when was about 70, thus the incredibly large age gap between the generations )
We're dropping that "Cuttlefish calling the Octarians 'octos'" Shit. That was added in the English version of the game and just feels vastly uncomfortable.
In the JPN version of OE, Cuttlefish expresses worries about Marina being from the army, not her being an Octoling. Basically, as much as I use the racism metaphor on my other blog, Cuttlefish being racist isn't... like. good characterization? It's boring. Traumatized and quick to judge, I'll take that and run with it.
