ok ok this has been in my mind for a while now- basically what if sakura and itachi had a wholesome friendship that started before the uchiha massacre and they usually meet up at sakura’s secret spot:
-Itachi wanted to keep his identity a secret because ANBU so Sakura just calls him “Anbu-san”.
-Sakura usually talks about her problems and how her day was, and Itachi just listens.
-Sometimes Itachi would give her tips on how to become a better shinobi and studying tips, and that’s how Sakura aces every written test.
-When Ino found out about the spot, Itachi kept his distance, and that’s self-explanitory.
-Sometime before the massacre, Itachi asked Sakura to “take care” of Sasuke and become friends with him. But she takes the wrong approach.
-He gave her a crow in which she named it “Ann” for Anbu.
This could also mean that Sakura now has a reason to “pursue” Sasuke other then “oh he’s so kewl and handsome”. But she *acts* like every other Sasuke fangirl.
After the shit with Zabuza, she actually starts to care for him a lot more, mainly cause he nearly died. And from there she starts to really fall for him.

Anyway her name is Tomei! She’s Rina’s successor.

I wanted all the successors to be different than their predecessors. Tomei is especially different bc of her more outgoing, bubbly and girlish personality. Tomei whole thing is that she wants a romance with a surfer like Luchia had. She even copied the pigtails. She's incredibly pushy and stubborn, Hanon if you will, and get very aggressive when things dont go her way. She's more of a comedic character but she does have depth.
