Couple of weeks ago I became obssessed with making a bead lizard like I had when I was a kid and I blacked out and came back having spent a lot of money on craft supplies. Anyway I made my little glow in the dark lizard to put on my work bag, but also the other reason I went batshit to obtain supplies for this is that I wanted to make some for friends and I can finally post them because they got them!!

The cord for the turtle comes from my original bead animal kit from like 20 years ago lmao. It actually worked a lot better than the bracelet cord I had to buy for the others (only thing i could find!!!)

I still wanna fuck around with pony beads (because I have a gajillion now) and bead animals and make bracelets but i'm posting the lads on main

this is sorta part of my initiative to try and get back into physical arts n crafts for a variety of reasons (partly mental health)

Social media follows a now-familiar pattern after the death of a celebrity. Some mourn and expect everyone to do likewise, while others point out harm and damage the person did, expressing relief that said harm has come to an end. (And then there's our president, who outright celebrates people's deaths.)

There's also the, "I never liked their books/movies/etc. anyway" response, which I find obnoxious and petty. Good people can create bad art. Bad people can create good art. Disliking someone's art says nothing about that person's worth as a human being.

Taking Chuck Norris as an example, some will point to good things he did, movies they loved, and say it's a time to grieve a loss.

To me, Norris is a man who *actively* and *unrepentingly* worked to deny rights and equality to my friends and family. That's real and personal harm.

Your feelings are your own, and they're valid. But don't ask or expect people to perform grief over those who fought to hurt us or the ones we love.

I've been hesitant to post these because they're so messy and the design for most of them aren't really finalised but I haven't been able to draw for quite some time so I'm just gonna post the sketches for now

My friend is very niceys and is rp-ing warhammer with me but since our setting is on a Rogue Trader ship we needed some side characters so I've been designing tech-priests. my favorite so far is Vidal and she's the one who has the most "final" design. Her design is inspired by plague doctors. and 4-4-RK is meant to evoke a spider.

I've made portraits for them in heroForge too

I did my best to recreate Vidal's beak but it was too much of a struggle so i gave up and went for a mask lmao
