Charlie always felt surprised when the dark clouds would fill the Scottish sky. The whole atmosphere changed. As a storm started brewing in the sky, it almost felt eerie in the hallways. The people less chatty, the calm before the storm and that kind of shenanigans. Eyes up at the darkening heaven he didn’t even notice the other person bumping into him until it happened. It might not have been the best idea to start gazing up at the sky whilst standing on the path leading up to the dorms. “S-Sorry about that~” He said softly looking at the other. 

ʜᴇ ɴᴇᴇᴅᴇᴅ ᴀ ʙʀᴇᴀᴋ. That much had become abundantly clear to him. He’d take a quick walk around campus, clear his mind. Then he would return to his dorm and finish prepping for tomorrow. Unless he found his roommate, that would give him an excuse to actually take a break. His thoughts are cut short as he collides with another person. "Charlie! No need to apologize, I was actually just looking for you.” Motioning back to the dorms he flashes a quick smile. “I was thinking of doing a movie marathon you up for it? It’s about perfect weather for it. The mini fridge is still stocked so there won’t be the need to awkwardly head into the lounge for one or two things from the vending machines.”

The brunette walked around the campus quietly. She was annoyed with her father and she was sure her face was showing it, although she always tried to hide the discontent. She sighed and shifted her backpack onto her other shoulder. She wasn’t quite watching where she was going and tripped over a crack in the sidewalk stumbling forward. She luckily caught herself but looked around to see if anyone had noticed her slip up. 

ʟɪғᴛɪɴɢ ᴀ ʙʀᴏᴡ ʟᴜᴄᴀs ᴏᴜᴛsᴛʀᴇᴛᴄʜᴇs ʜɪs ʜᴀɴᴅ ᴍᴏᴛɪᴏɴɪɴɢ ᴀᴛ ᴛʜᴇ ɢɪʀʟ. “C’Mon. Give me the bag.” A small smile settles on his face, the half-laugh escaping his lips. “Let me be chivalrous and carry your bag. My mom would probably kick my ass if she found out I saw you almost fall and still made you walk alone.” Falling in step beside her he gently nudges her shoulder. “Besides you can fill me in on your take for the assignment. Honestly, I’m expecting a bunch of projects that just aren’t turned in. I mean a window into my mind... that’s just...” Lucas mimics an explosion sound with his free hand before grinning at the girl. “My mind is uh... I don’t know. I hate it y’know? I just can’t vibe with my art. Yours on the other hand.” He points his finger at her narrowing his brows. “Phenomenal. You have such a distinct style and I always look forward to seeing the next piece you come out with.”

Shutting the book he takes his glasses off slowly setting them down. He swears he hears a whisper and giggle and the hair on his arm stands. Glancing around the room his eyes land on the students lounging around. Pushing himself out of his seat he slowly moves toward the door stepping into the hall. Perhaps he was simply paranoid because of everything that was happening. He still remembers the reluctant look on his mothers face as they sent them back to the school at the start of the year. Shaking his head he pushes through the crowd. He had to work on his campaign for student council, manage the clubs he was in and make sure that the students he’d been tutoring last year were okay on their own. Not to mention his mother was breathing down his neck constantly trying to make sure that he and his brother were okay. His fingers dance across the screen of his phone, and before he knows it he’s colliding with someone. “ Oh shi- ” Swiftly biting down on his tongue he stops himself from continuing. “ Sorry, I am so sorry are you okay? ” Lifting his gaze from his phone he looks at the person in question.
