when the goddess of youth had received her invitation to the harvest masquerade ball that was being hosted at the grand hall she was actually thrilled. any chance to buy a new outfit was a good one and she was more than happy to drink , eat , and party on the high council’s dime. hebe was sick of all the fear mongering that had been going on in response to the death of the mages.
this was the first time in what felt like eons that she felt so much energy and flowing life force in one place that was specifically supernatural. it gave the godyr a head rush something overwhelmingly intoxicating and she was suddenly fully energized as she entered the grand hall. a over the top hot pink mask with everything but the kitchen sink adorned her face but it was hard to disguise who she was anyway.
it took all of five seconds after hebe entered the main room of the grand hall for her to recognize someone even through their disguise. she sauntered towards them , rubbing her hands together , “ i’ve been prayin’ for this party , haven’t you ? “
castiel wasn’t one for parties. perhaps it was the noise, or maybe it was the crowds, being around so many people at once. he wasn’t entirely sure. they had never really felt like his kind of scene. that being said, he could appreciate that this was something estonia was very much in need of after the recent deaths, and it was for that reason that he’d showed up at all. it didn’t mean he’d have to stick around for long, just enough to show his face -- or, well, part of his face, then he could return to his duties. maybe until then he could try to have a good time.
“not particularly,” he answered bluntly as the godyr walked towards him, straight-faced as ever beneath his mask. it was simple, black feathers with a blue sheen to them, somewhat resembling his wings when they were present. nothing too dramatic, and that was what he’d been going for. simple. “though i’m pleased that you’re enjoying yourself.”
