On second thought bpd split was probably not the best way to describe this.
If it at all makes sense on why I would use such a term it’s because I and most of the people in my life have bpd and I’ve been on both sides of a bpd split many many times and what is being described comes off very much as a bpd split.
However you are right I am using a bit of pop psychology and trivializing what bpd splits are like so I will change the language.
