Can you imagine Jesus walking around and each person He looks at, with all the crowds surrounding Him on many occasions, He sees completely full of love and compassion for them. He has no first judgements, no first impressions, He is not presumptuous, or prejudice. He only knows how to see people for eternal life and is so rooted and grounded in the reality that everyone has an eternal value in the sight of God.
Visited a university today, started snowing while we were there (reference this place is in Northern Canada), the university itself is a little off the grid, but beautiful and is fairly modern. I also met one of my potential future professor who gave a fantastic presentation on the program, can’t wait to apply tomorrow!
now it’s 2:42 am and i’m taking a small break before diving into a 26-page article with an interaction sheet due tomorrow. i’ve been working since midnight reading 3 chapters of my old testament textbook and then making notes over them because i failed my quiz last week and i don’t want to feel that disappointed again. i’m really, really tired but i’m working really, really hard. ps i included a picture ft. my sleeping dog because he makes me smile when i look up from my notes so i hope he can make you smile too

It is a beautiful, rainy autumn day. The leaves are falling, the tea is steaming. I am content.
Third year starts officially starts tomorrow but I don’t have classes until Tuesday. I think I’m ready to get back into some semblance of structure, but I know within a month I’ll have lost any and all will to live.

31.08.2017 // The weather is cold and rainy and I am LIVING. Fall is coming 🌧🍂 Anyway I’m looking for some content on teaching audiovisual translation for my oral presentation next week but haven’t found anything so far.
My goal for today is to get all reading done for next week. All I want is to be motivated and for it to be sweater weather again ☕🍂🎃
I had another exam today and it went really well! 4 more to go though :’) I wish everybody lots of luck with their exams!

My mom needed the table I was using as my desk, so I took another one from our attic. This one is waaaay bigger, it’s nice to have this much space while studying ~~ In two weeks I got my statistics exam! I still got a lot to do, but I’ll get there!
Only a week into school and I already have soooo much work 🙃 Never thought I’d actually say that maths is my fave subject atm? 📐📊
