     It was understandable, the tone his husband took on when speaking of      such a thing. Jonghyun was protective by nature when it came to Luhan,      and it was one of the many things he adored about his love. So, a soft      smile curved his lips– some measure of reassurance that all was and      would be well. “If he continues as he is, his head won’t be intact for much      longer. Trust me.” The smile slipped then, casting a glance over his shoul-      der while his jaw visibly clenched. “Unfortunately it’s not up to me right now      when that happens.” Perhaps it was an effect of the world around them. Or      simply the blood within him, but he was oddly disappointed with the fact.

       “You know I can’t help worrying.” He muttered beneath his breath, a few wisps         of blond falling before his eyes with the forward tilt of his head. Despite his cold         demeanour, the pout upon his lips proved otherwise. Besides, when couldn’t he         joke around with his love, even at the worst of times? Casting a small smile up         towards the younger male, he rubbed the back of his neck, almost with a shred         of innocence to cloud his next words. “You know me, Lu. I’m not well suited to         playing to the rules. What if I were to just...get rid of him? I’d rather I get the         blame instead of you anyway, nobody needs to know.”

   As far as fizzy drinks go, Cadeyrn certainly has a weakness for lemonade. He’s particularly fond of its versatility and will often bring home a bottle of cordial (elderflower being his favourite) to try with it. If asked about his desert-island drink, he would probably get into a tizzy about whether he wants lemonade, tea, coffee, or aloe vera juice, and wind up insisting that he’d like to take them all.

    One might believe that Cadeyrn’s entire experience with Andraste has been something of an illusion. From being tricked to believe that his parents were sending him cryptic messages from beyond the grave to being convinced that every other Tom, Dick, and Harry were the ones responsible for essentially tearing his family apart; Andraste has been far too persuasive, and Cadeyrn has been rather naïve.
