Ironically, Caleb carries the weight of the world on his shoulders, yet to everyone else, he seems like the most laid back person you could ever meet.
He was born with multiple Congenital Heart Defects, which makes his condition much more complicated.

Born with a disability that no one can see, Caleb Hargreaves was never one to have a naive outlook on the world and the people who lived on it. Spending most of his childhood at Great Ormond Street Hospital, Caleb had to grow up a lot sooner than other children his age. Organizing his medication every Sunday in preparation for the next week ahead, memorizing the medical terminology regarding his condition to pass the information to his teachers in school, and being discriminated against by people who thought they knew better.
Caleb was far from ordinary, and any friends in his life were usually far and few between, but it didn’t bother him. He was appreciative of any friendship he could make, still treasuring those moments even when he found himself alone again. Being alone never seemed as bad as people made it out to be, or maybe he was just too used to it to feel anything anymore.
