“Oh-- you have a twin?” Cali furrowed her brow, silence settling between them for a moment. “Not a great relationship, I’m guessing... I thought twins were like-- connected, or some weird shit, like that. I dunno’, I’m an only child.”

Eva smiled awkwardly up the man who was three paces behind the woman she’d just met. “Are you in some kind danger?” she asked, unsure of another reason why someone would need such strong protection.

“Well, if you listen to the radio, you probably know who I am. Or at least... what I sound like.” She shrugged. “I’m Cali. Definitely not in danger-- although, some of my mail gets a little freaky from time to time.”

“Oh,” she let her mouth hang for a moment, glancing at the man than back at her. “You have a bodyguard? He seems.. tough.”

“He’s also a thorn in my backside.” She murmured. “Not very talkative... Kinda’ like a creepy shadow monster, but the monster protects you.”

“Sorry,” Eva apologised, before biting her lip and speaking again. “But there’s.. this, uh, guy behind you. He seems to be following you.”

“Oh, I know. That’s Jimmy. He's not a stalker-- he's my bodyguard. Pretend like he’s not here. That’s what I always tell people.”

Having a bodyguard only about three paces behind you didn’t exactly scream ‘I’m normal’. Nevertheless, Calliope smiled, wiggling her fingers at an onlooker. “You know it’s rude to stare, right?”

“What’s the problem here?” Enzo pushed pass the large crowd gathering before two bodyguards emerged carrying a man, clearly intoxicated, in between them. Sighing softly, he grabbed the man himself, dragging him towards the door before throwing him out onto the street. Dusting off his hands, the doors closed and he walked back in, approaching someone else. “You alright? Sorry about that. That rarely happens,” he explained, soon smiling. “Can I get you a drink? On the house.”

Calliope had tossed what little of her cocktail was left at the man for inappropriately touching her after making several advances and even sneaking his way into her VIP booth. Of course, being a high profile celebrity at this point in her career, going anywhere was a bit of a hassle. However, she partially blamed herself for even agreeing to coming out to this particular club. It wasn’t quite her scene, but she’d been invited by a few ‘friends’ from the studio. Watching him be dragged out was a bit of a relief, but when the owner approached after handling it himself, she crossed her arms. “I’m like, totally fine... That guy was a little to touchy.” A beat passed. “Well, seeing as I wasted my drink on that jerk, yeah... another drink would be great.” She huffed, shaking her head. "How'd he even get into our booth? That's what I wanna' know."

“Well, I... I considered it. I just don’t want my image ruined. Reputation is everything in this fucking town. I’m kinda’ trapped. Besides, my entertainment lawyer seems to be on their side, not mine.”

“Don’t worry about it at all. When my parents leave me in charge of the grocery shopping, I can hardly even push the cart. I’d buy the whole store if I could,” she joked. “Hey, you treat yourself–you deserve it, we all do every once in a while… Or every day, depending your outlook on life,” she shrugged with a small snicker. “Oh, well hand some over! I don’t mind at all!” She gave her a sweet smile. 

Handing a few over to her, Cali smiled and lead her through the parking lot towards her black Porsche. “I don’t shop much, but I realized I had like, nothing in the house.” Cali snorted as she opened the trunk, putting in a few of the plastic bags. “I mean, I’m barely home, so it makes sense. You know, one time I had my fridge stocked before going on tour, and when I came back three months later, everything was spoiled as hell. It was so gross.” She laughed.

Dana stood back as the woman regained her composure. “TMZ- are you famous? Now that I think about it, you look pretty familiar- I’m sorry, I’m totally blanking on your name though!” Dana nodded quickly as she retrieved her camera. “Deleted.”
