How To Prepare for an Interview
1. Know your resume. You should be able to know everything that's written on your resume. The start and end of every work experience that you had. Every certificate and seminars you attended. Also, you have to be able to defend the decisions that you made on your school and work life.
2. Rehearse your answers to frequently asked questions during an interview. Know at least 30 possible questions and prepare your answers. The content of your answer should be able to impress the interviewer. Also, you should be able to deliver the answers with self-confidence.
3. Dress up! You should look smart and professional on the clothes you're in. Dress up but don't wear one that might distract the interviewer like a miniskirt or blouse with low necklines. You don't want to feel uncomfortable during the interview, do you?
4. Compose yourself. I know that you're nervous and scared to fail but you have to recognize that it's only normal to feel that way. Not unless you're overqualified on the job post you're applying for and the job is surely yours then by all means wear your Mr.Ironman aura and display it during the job interview. But if that's not the case then know that your fear is normal. Just do your best not to let the feelings interfere with your performance during the interview. Think that whatever the outcome is, give the best that you have to avoid any regrets after that job interview.
5.Prepare all the documents that you have. They might ask for it. There's this program that I encountered on the web that might help you on organizing all of your portfolios. It's http://jobform.com/en. You can check on it. It's free and you'll find it useful.
