Confession #223 : I just wanna know why people like Hanako that much? She’s alright but people literally forget that she was fine with being complicit in her brother’s murder and that in a way she misunderstood Yorinobu. Too many people assume Yorinobu is a villain and rarely consider what his relationship with his dad was like, his dad comes off as emotionally abusive and one of the reasons Yorinobu left was because of his wicked schemes. Too many people forget that Saburo is known as power hungry, ruthless, and prideful that he does a lot of bad things from putting Johnny in Mikoshi to taking over his son’s body. Hanako, Takemura, and almost everyone including V (if you do the devil ending) basically sold their soul or put their trust in a man who more or likely will use them especially considering what did they really do the surgery on V for? I personally just Hanako, Oda, and Takemura as pawns to Saburo who is the real danger, Yorinobu realized his dad was doing wicked shit and didn’t want to be around for it. I honestly blame Saburo for putting it in their heads that Yorinobu was the real enemy.

#the more info I got about Yori the more I liked him #he's smart and brave to end his father's tyrany this way #he had a goal and he could do anything to reach it even the things he tried during the Devil ending #I kinda parallel him with V or Joshua #while Takemura and Oda was blinded by the devotion they felt #and Hanako was just a dumb puppet and was OK with that #IMHO
