Ratonhnhaké:ton and how relevant he is to mass media: possibly one of the most important male protags thus far

RatonhnhakĂ©:ton, known by his adopted name Connor Kenway, is possibly one of mass mediaâs and 3rd gen gamingâs most important male protagonists thus farâhe subverts common tropes glorifying hypermasculinity, the white savior complex and imperialism through his narrative. RatonhnhakĂ©:ton is a scarce and primary example of visible representation of both the Native American and biracial community, as his ethnicity is not only relevant to his narrative but also not vilified or demeaned: through RatonhnhakĂ©:tonâs narrative, the Mohawk peoples are instead humanized.
While the quality of AC3âs narrative can be debated, from a sociopolitical perspective, itâs important. Incredibly so. Rarely do you see a biracial, Mohawk protagonist who not only combats imperialism but isnât reduced to a walking and problematic stereotype of some sort. RatonhnhakĂ©:ton is meant to be perceived as human and sympathetic at that to the player.

The idea of dictating which characters are and are not "canonly" transgender is absurd, and patent transphobia. You have no way of knowing unless a content creator specifically announces that their character is cisgender. Cisgender is not the default.
Your overreaction and oversimplification of this topic to âyou must be transphobic because reasonsâ is the exact reason why I donât want to incorporate gender headcanons into this group. I know from experience that theyâre too controversial, muns start arguing with each other that their headcanons are wrong, and drama happens. Thatâs all youâre trying to do right now, anyways. Start drama.
I myself am bigender. I have several transgender headcanons of my own for characters in various fandoms. I understand that cisgender is not the default. However, because there is no default in canon, itâs easier to designate a default for this verse so that nobody steps on each otherâs toes. If you so wish, make an RP group where every character is transgender, or where anybody can have their own gender headcanons. However, calling me bigoted because I want a clean, non-confrontational RP group isnât the way to get yourself representation.
On another note, I donât understand why you want to argue this me, the admin of a group that you could just as easily ignore. If you donât agree with my rules, then donât follow this group or anybody whoâs a member of it.

Also being nonbinary doesnât mean you arenât capable of being transphobic 1) internalized transphobia exists, just as every other form of internalization does 2) being nonbinary and being transgender are not inherently synonymous to start with but even if they were thatâd still be a bullshit excuse
Anyways I highly suggest that you get off that high horse if youâre going to mod a group because people will leave, and quickly at that. And @ whoever this anon is, rest assured there are 2832 groups out there with better worldbuilding and mod teams so no loss on your part
