If you’re scared that you’re not getting anywhere, if you’re not seeing any progress, if you’re afraid of what the future holds, read this carefully, beloved one:

Jesus is overseeing the narrative of your life. He is making all things, big or small, easy or hard, work together for your own good.

I know that we’re not used to living today as it is without worrying about tomorrow or the big picture. I know that we feel more at ease if we think we have all the control. But Jesus invites us to trust Him about tomorrow. To trust Him about our entire lives. To trust Him about the fruits of our stay in this lifetime.

He’s worth it, though. If there’s one person we can trust our lives to, it’s Christ.

I just wanted to blog about my Lord and Savoir Jesus Christ for a moment. Not too long ago I received some godly criticism from a friend and it hurt… Like I know they meant well but it still hurt. Later on I felt as though I didn’t do what God wanted me to do and I felt He was displeased with me… Even this morning at church I had the thought “God doesn’t love me” cross my mind… Later while I was spending time with God, I told the devil to go to hell and take his lies with him. …I may not always do what I’m supposed to, God may be displeased with me sometimes. And heck I may even stray away from God… But no matter what I do there’s one thing that will never change: God will always love me. After all, in the song “Jesus Loves Me” there’s a part that goes: “Jesus loves me when I’m good, when I do the things I should. Jesus loves me when I’m bad, even though it makes him sad.”

Point here is that, God still loves us, even when we do wrong. It does displease Him, but we are no less His Children. Parents still love their kids, even when they do wrong. It does however hurt the parents when their child disobeys.

And if you need biblical proof: “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” -John 3:16

Point is… if God didn’t love me, He would never have sent Jesus to die for me. He’d let me rot in hell… He might not have even went through the trouble of creating me. And even if He did create me while not loving me, why would I have it so good? The answer is simple:It’s because God does love me. And the correction I receive from Him sometimes, even though unpleasant. it’s meant for my own good, Because He loves me. The Bible verse doesn’t just apply to me, not just to my fellow Christians. But to the entire world. For God so loved the world. God loves everyone… every single person that has lived on this planet, He sent His Son to die for us. The main point I want y’all to take from this is that God loves you. Even if you’re right with Him, even if you sin. Even if you aren’t a child of God and don’t even believe in Him or are unsure of His existence. I just want you to know that God loves you,and He wants what’s best for you. …So next time you hear the devil or anyone  for that matter say “God doesn’t love you.” I want you to remember the proof of the Bible and all God has done and to tell the devil or other person to shut up and take their lies with them. I’m Here For You

I started reading through Ecclesiastes and I read one of my favorite passages: 

To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven:

 A time to be born, And a time to die; A time to plant, And a time to pluck what is planted; A time to kill, And a time to heal; A time to break down, And a time to build up;  A time to weep, And a time to laugh; A time to mourn, And a time to dance;  A time to cast away stones, And a time to gather stones; A time to embrace, And a time to refrain from embracing;  A time to gain, And a time to lose; A time to keep, And a time to throw away;  A time to tear, And a time to sew; A time to keep silence, And a time to speak;  A time to love, And a time to hate; A time of war, And a time of peace.

Ecclesiastes 3:1-8

We all go through various seasons in our lives and the unique thing about this passage is that it implies that we’ll all go through similar experiences. Even though your story and my story may be different in some ways, there are similarities especially if we look at how we go through similar seasons. I think this was by the design of God that we all experience similar things but at different points in life because He wants us to be a source of comfort to others. He wants us to shine His light and pour out His love in the places that He’s placed us in. In Romans 12:15 it says:

Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep.

God wants us to be united as one body and we can’t do that if we’re not willing to understand each other’s perspective, listen to each other, and comfort each other. God doesn’t bring people into our lives just because He wants to; He brings them because there’s a greater purpose behind the relationship you’ll build with that person and what God intends to show you through that. I know there are days where you feel that no one gets you, but there is Someone that does: 

For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin.

Hebrews 4:15   

Jesus is our compassionate and merciful High Priest. He’s been through everything that we’re going through and we can look to Him for refuge and strength. He is our blameless High Priest and King. Let us look to Him for guidance as we press on through our Christian Walk.
