i finally decided to read the terror book long after watching the series and getting into polar exploration. im halfway through and it's kind if pissing me off

#some of the descriptions are so fucking weird and i dont know how much of it was a conscious decision #very misogynistic and racist also and still dont know if its intentional and it making me really uncomfortable #the terror
