Arriving at the Amity Hotel with Calla, he got out of the car going to open the door for his date, waiting for her to step out of the vehicle before closing the door behind her. They were a little late to the party, but late was better than never. Jackson readjusted the white mask on his face, not yet used to wearing the thing. “Looks like a good turn out.” He commented glancing around the parking lot that was filled with cars now.

She watched at Jackson opened her door, waiting a moment before getting out, pulling down her dress a little bit because it rose up when she was sitting in the car. “Looks decent.” She said, taking a moment to glance around as well. She leaned over and kissed him, just a quick peck on the lips. She took a few steps ahead of him before turning around to look at him. “You ready?” She asked. She hadn’t been to any type of ball in years, decades even, she did feel a bit out of practice.

I mean, there’s obviously alien life out there somewhere, like, you’re telling me that in the billions of years this universe has been going there hasn’t been any other life forms on any other planets? And within those life forms none of them have advanced beyond us technologically? It’s just, I don’t know, man– it’s just dumb to think otherwise, right?” She asked, seeking some form of agreement.

“Makes sense.” She said listening to the other girl speak. “Have you thought about it like this though, maybe the supernatural beings, or some at least are from different places and were dropped off on earth long ago so they don’t remember they’re from a different place.” She said, making a point to continue with the conversation. “I’m Calla by the way.”
