Some days I think what a wild ride it has been this year so far. I had never imagined being able to travel this much. It has been quite an eye opening experience being able to explore different countries and be one with the locals. It has even pushed me to start learning Japanese to make better connections with the people to understand their lives and honestly share a good conversation over some beers. If you asked me last year what I imagined my life would be I would have said it would have been to travel the world with my significant other. Since that time at lot has happened and we are no longer together. Maybe for better reasons than I had really knew. It’s hard to not dwell on what could have happened if I had done something else but in reality that time has past. So I choose to just be present and focus on what is happening at the moment and make moves for the future. Some times some things happen for reasons we can’t explain. It really has made me change my perspective on who and what I really want to surround myself with in my life.

I was once told that priorities and goals change as you get older and to some extent they were right. But to truly give up on a dream is to lose yourself to society and the norms. The real truth is that we don’t last forever and to make that time that passes inbetween the accomplishments enjoyable because in the end it is where we spend most of our lives.

I didn’t mean for this post to get so deep but go out there and do the thing and don’t hold back.
