Imaginary prision

Have you ever looked at someone and just admired them for the person they are? Loving them not just for their butt but for their eyes and their personality. Seeing them truly happy makes you truly happy and you'd always be there when they're not. That is if they wanted you to be there to hold their hand. The cruel truth is that they have no idea you feel like this, or at least you hope to god they don't. "What if she doesn't like me that way." "What if she gets weirded out by it if I tell her." You want to scream at the top of your lungs how much you can't imagine life without them even if you don't see them very often. But you can't. The fear of losing them as a friend is too much to try telling them how you feel. I wouldn't wish that emptiness on anyone. It's like you're drowning and they might be able to save you but you quietly die for fear that they'll jump in and drown themselves.

Growing up

There is no changing human nature is there? Whatever you do won’t change anyone but yourself. You start to not give a shit about anyone even the people worth having around. You start to drift away from those people you used to call your best friends. So what do you do know? Try desperately to fit in while secretly hating yourself for it. Or do you stay true to yourself and hate everyone who doesn’t conform to your needs. Neither sound very good do they? Welcome to the teenage state of mind
