The #metoo campaign continues to gain momentum. Just want to add my support; I’ve not been a victim of sexual harassment per se, but have had more than my fill of #homophobia, especially in the 1980s. What brought this home to me was talking with a ‘mom’ colleague who described making a management consulting proposal in front of a group of men when she was pregnant. What I don’t understand is why women ‘play’ to men in certain professional contexts by wearing very short dresses, tight jumpers, etc, etc. I think this goes beyond a women’s right to wear what they choose; by choosing potentially provocative clothes, are not the women participating in their own oppression? Very interested in your views. Cheers, David
