The #CannaBong: [Part 3a] The molded pure cannabis bong has has now been wrapped with its first outer leaf layer & is ready to be taken to its next phase! Although this venture has taken twice as long than any of my other canna projects, it has been time well invested since it has taught me more about cannabis than any feat I’ve taken upon. Not only have I waited for the compressed nugs to solidify, but I have had to manipulate the inner leaves to get them to fuse together through a process of constant tying & warming. Removing the shot glass wrapped with parchment paper was easier than I thought, as the warm wax along the smooth inner walls provided enough lubrication to easily twist & slide out the embedded mold without bursting or crumbling the flexible canna walls. I purposely left the hemp line around the water vessel as I removed the shot glass mold, to avoid the compromise of the outer wall. As you can see^, the hemp line is still nicely wrapped around the bong’s open mouth end, even though the mold isPartlonger present. The lower half of the bare downstem has also been coated with oil before & after its first leaf layer. The double waxed layers will provide reinforced water proofing to the stem before it is permanently inserted into the bottom of the canna bong. Next, I will carefully bore a hole into the hollow bong, at the downstem’s insertion point & fuse the stem to the thickening canna bong together with even more leaves & wax… Part 3b, coming soon! by afgoo_head http://ift.tt/1kAbIhe
