Interesting Danish indie-rock duet, which music contains elements typical for 50′s-60′s rock and folk rock. I have some kind of nostalgia for that period of time and its music, especially American, so I enjoy each retro-reference in contemporary things, clothes and songs. I’m a This is one of my favourite songs from the band and I think one of most nostalgic and sad. I like also the Texas theme there - for many, many years I’ve been wanting to visit USA, especially the American South. To go through the desert, drive highways with yellow road lines, tank up my car and drink Coke at some god-forsaken petrol station in the middle of nowhere, have myself a glass of whiskey in some gloomy roadside smoky bar when there’s only darkness and silence all around. This is my version of the American Dream, which hasn’t come true yet.
