Professional Development

Nothing is rewarded in a profession like betrayal.  Get experience, you need more creds.  Get creds, we don’t have budget.  New fiscal year?  We only do raises when it's May.  Get another job offer, how high can we pay you?

Computers are voodoo magic.

1.      Anyone will pay anyone anything to not have to know anything about a computer.  The need to click something and the computer know the meaning you assigned that click is most desperate and insolently hypocritical

2.      As soon as you mention a computer relative to the exact job someone does in every other way, they shut down.  Do they not make enough or are they not ordained in the priesthood of computer voodoo

On the manliness of temperature regulation

If you see a man within latitude 50 wearing a sweater, that's a woman.  Seriously, even if I needed to layer, I'd still burst into flame when I came indoors.  I'd be roast nebri to be feasted upon by skekses.
