hi! so I was wondering how would Newt Scamander react if they were at a wedding with a S/O or a friend and an absolute JAM comes on and they drag him to the dance floor and dances crazy? i was listening to Bruno Mars recently and just thought of this haha!

Calmly chatting and having a nice time
Then when the song changes, you gasp in excitement
Newt looks at you in surprise, wondering what’s up
Your face lits up as you say you adore that song
Newt smiles, endeared by your response
Honestly, the song is pretty catchy
Not that he likes the sudden and somewhat naughty grin on your lips
He knows you’re more extroverted than him
And almost reads your mind, knowing you’ll do something wild
Indeed, you hold his hand and jump to your feet
You seem so happy and excited!
You drag him to the dance floor and start dancing
As in, energetically moving around and feeling the music
Living it, basically, having lots of fun
And Newt gets embarrassed, of course, because people are staring
You don’t mind, you literally dance like no one is watching
He would lower his head and awkwardly smile at people
Maybe even try to sit down to avoid the embarrassment
Not that you let him, you want him to enjoy the music with you
So you hold him back and ask him to dance with you
He can’t help but to smile again at your eagerness
He’s so smitten by you that he doesn’t care anymore
Newt accepts to join you, even if not as crazily
You still dance your body off, holding his hands
And he shyly joins you, barely even moving
But you laugh, knowing he’s doing his best
And he chuckles a little too
