Hi chat I'm back from the dead not to write a new fic but because I once again redesigned my DoL PC and once again drawing them with Bailey and after this I'm gonna go back to the grave and revive myself until I get inspired to post something again
This is also dedicated to the very lovely and very amazing @dokidokibailey for inspiring me to draw this and post again your Bailey mod is life changing and I recently reread your BaileyFics on AO3 and just aksjldfaslkdfjasd;flkjasdf thank you for blessing (cursing?????) the world with this amazing mod I cannot wait for your future expansions my favorite part is edging myself on getting the third Stockholm point because I don't know if I want to get it just yet or if I want to keep being an annoying little shit and ragebaiting him.

ANYWAY I'M GONNA RAMBLE ABOUT MY PC ONCE AGAIN

I always play on DoL+ but even if I don't I always try to run a Defiant PC that has a really high combat fame but has zero skills in sex and survives in Rapechester™ by beating people to death and pepper spraying everyone
BUT!!!! Something that always stuck to me is if Bailey wins the poker night, Bailey takes you somewhere and there's these two thugs you can threaten and call you Bailey's Girl/Boy (unfortunately my namless PC goes by they/them or she/her and nobody in this town aside from Bailey and Robin understands the concept of people using different pronouns). So something that got me thinking is what if there's a possibility of a new fame option but being Bailey related. OR OR OR somehow your fame being connected to Bailey. Like if you have a high combat fame people would start seeing you as "Bailey's brat" or "Bailey's attack guard dog". If you have a high sex fame you're like "Bailey's #1 merchandise" or something. And if you have Bailey related fame, NPCs treat you differently. Like for example, if you have a high combat fame+Bailey there's a bigger chance that you'll be harassed by larger groups of people as revenge for beating them up. If you have high prostitution fame+Bailey you'll get people soliciting you but they'll give you a lot of money (and maybe - Control and + Trauma as well because I can't imagine this can be good for your mental health lmao).

I am a fanfiction author. Extra emphasis on the word fiction. I am aware that my fictional interests are what people consider gross and concerning. I will not deny that, and I will not force people who don't like it to understand why I like it. I have no other reason other than the fact that I want to read fictional stories regarding that. If the intent is not to write a realistic depiction of an abusive dynamic, I will not criticize it as such. If the intent is to write a kinky fictional piece intended for people who are interested in reading that kind of material, I treat it as such.
Let me emphasize. I read and write fiction.
Do not ask me if I support non contact incest in real life or whatever. Ignoring the fact that I don't support incest in real life, I'm not even knowledgeable enough about "no contact" or whatever terms are used. And frankly, I'd rather not know even if it'll help me "understand things better." If you're finding attraction to children or your family members in real life, I genuinely mean it when I say seek help. Find a professional who'd be able to help you and not a random person on Tumblr who writes fanfiction for fun.
I don't know how to end this other than please learn to separate fiction from reality. Don't assume that someone's fictional interests, especially unconventional ones, always align with their real beliefs. And for the love of god fo not do not ask random strangers online shit like that.

I actually have multiple saves in the game from even when before I started playing properly but the farthest I've gone is my first save of this year where I decided to get the CowTF and finally do Avery's route. Unfortunately he stresses me out as a LI so much so I feel like I wanna wait until I do a lot of things before I pursue him again because what do you mean you want me to have a strict schedule. What do you mean I have to serve you dinner everh night you grown ass man. What do you mean you get mad if I win against you in tennis. At least Bailey directly tells me I piss him off instead of pretending he's not a domestic abuser 😭 BUT‼️‼️‼️ I still do like Avery and I am BEGGING for there to be a proper love triangle if you attempt to romance both of them. I also have this headcanon that if you make Bailey win during Avery's poker game and after Avery pays you Bailey is just going to ask for his money instead of waiting for Sunday to come and charge you.
I also really like the Great Hawk but as you said he's so far 😭 and I'm not a huge fan of his content. You get the HarpyTF from him, and then that's it. Sure, you can fix his tower, but I find it so tedious that I haven't finished his tower yet.
As for Gwylan... he's very complicated to romance. He's not like other LIs where you can just click the options that increase love. It's in vanilla though so you don't have to worry about not being able to romance him. It's just a very long process so good luck 😭

I also didn't expect to like this game that much I thought it was just a gooner game that has every kink on earth. I used to play it with cheats on because I didn't care for the story but now I'm surprised I'm invested.
I will say however that I play on DoLPlus for convenience especially since I'm not sure if I'll ever get the FoxTF in vanilla without my PC going insane.

This took me way longer than it should have but I finally finished it. My DoL PC plus the NPCs I consider the most important for their lore! Individual artworks and yapping under the cut!
PC: I've made an introduction sheet before where my PC's name is Evie and that they're supposed to be a catperson. But aside from the fact that I got bored of the CatTF, went through hell getting the FoxTF, and started a new save so that I can pretend they were born as a foxperson, I'm also not very attached to the name Evie. So for now I'm just gonna refer to them as "PC" until I find a name that I like.
Bailey: LISTEN I DO NOT CARE IF HE'S NOT A LOVE INTEREST YET AS SOON AS THE DAY ARRIVES I WILL BE GOING THROUGH HELL TO ROMANCE THIS MAN. That said, I also kinda want romancing Bailey to be extremely difficult and slowburn while also being messy. So I like to think that the relationship status for Bailey on the social would be something like for most of his levels. And honestly I could not ask for more.
Avery: Did y'all know that when I started playing Avery was just a guy who would pick you up every Saturday and you can't do anything with him other than make him your wallet and I was devastated that this older man doesn't have a lot of content but now that he does I'm pissed that he becomes a whiny baby if you don't do what he wants. Also I consider him a secondary love interest because I just know that interactions with Bailey and Avery are going to be the funniest shit ever if that were the case.
Gwylan: I have mixed feelings for Gwylan's role in the story but I do consider him important enough to fit my PC's lore. Also I don't care what role he serves in canon in my head Gwylan helps my PC take care of their fox features and I'm sure bro is sick of listening to this person rant about the two most toxic men in their life and that they should just dump both of their asses.
Kylar: I actually find Kylar lowkey annoying lmao. I know the only way for him to become hysterical is by romancing him and making him jealous but one) outside of gameplay mechanics, I definitely think Kylar would still try to abduct you, and two) I need to romance him for the pepper spray lab and once that's done I just dismiss the guy lmao.
Quinn: Listen I had no idea who to put for the last slot it was a tie between Leighton, Quinn (both because of Avery's poker night dates) and Robin and Whitney (both because of school and home stuff). I spun a wheel and it landed on Quinn. I don't care if he looks chopped he looks like Willy Wonka in my head and I don't respect him enough to give him a better design.
I know there's no option to use they/them pronouns in the game. I just think it's amusing that Bailey and Robin automatically know your "real" gender, but if you crossdress, they'll still refer to you with the pronouns that match your appearance. So I like to think that Bailey would definitely refer to PC as they/them if it was an option. But most importantly of all, he'll specifically correct Avery misgendering you to assert dominance.

i spent the entire night doing the Ending A in the stupid hopeless cycle quest in DoL omg that was so tedious. I want to complete all of them but I don't know if I have the willpower to do it again.
I think the reason why I'm struggling with writing this Bailey fic is because it follows the rules of canon which means it's gonna be inevitably yume coded. I'm not writing an X reader anymore. I'm writing my PC's lore and replacing their name and pronouns for reader insert benefits.

You can tell they're a yume OC because they have the same chopped hairstyle as me my HSR yume lmaooo. The info below is a mix of both the main game, the DoLPlus mod, and non-canon content that I made up myself for story purposes.

I don't have any specific ethnicity in mind, but they're probably French-Filipino.
I'm not too attached to the name Evie right now, but it does fit with the character theming I have in mind coughs Bailey snake Eve forbidden fruits apples cough wow the wind sounds so sick today it should get cough drops
Absolutely gets misgendered every single day in school. Somehow, the concept of a person wearing both the school skirt and pants and not identifying as either a male or a female is foreign to everyone there. The only one that respects their pronouns there is Robin and the kids in the orphanage.
Teachers consider them a delinquent. Not as much as they do Whitney (though to be fair who's as bad as Whitney) but enough that detentions every after classes were almost normal.
The cat transformation was unintentional. They just kept jumping over the school gate to avoid detention with Leighton. After that, they had a sudden craving for the café's cream buns.
Used to work at the pound to try and make an honest living. However, they helped the Black Dog escaped and was captured as punishment after an incident in the dog pound, they disappeared for nearly two weeks. When they suddenly turned up in the orphanage and paid their debt to Bailey, they stopped working there ever again.
After that, they started delving into skulduggery. They first practiced by opening lockers in school, which turned to easily lying to people. After that, they bought a lockpicking set from Landry to continue honing their skills (DoLPlus content).
They started using this skill to loot treasures in the forest and moors, and then eventually started regularly visiting the abandoned church in the forest and then sell those in the museum.
They have a somewhat high trauma. Everyone around them seemed to notice that they started acting differently after their two-week disappearance and when the math competition was about to end. They also started avoiding the front entrance of the school after that.
They also refuse to "return" to the sewers ever again. Every time Landry would ask them to go to the sewers to get his black box they either demand a different job or just say no. Something something "insane guy who eats live rats lives down there" something something. No one really gets it.
Goes to the MMA Gym every after class to build physique so that they wouldn't get taken advantage of ever again (DoLPlus content).
Woke up drowning one day after a blood moon. Never slept again during blood moons after that.
NPC Relationships
Do NOT ask them what they think about Bailey and vice versa these two WILL have the biggest crashouts this town has ever seen.
Robin looks up to them, and they do their best to be nice to Robin. However, they harbor some resentment after they took on his debt and after he called Bailey of all people when they broke down in front of him. They always feel guilty thinking about that and just keep it to themselves.
Whitney thinks they're a threat to his status. And to his hands. Don't ask him why he has so many hole-shaped scars that are conveniently placed like fangs.
Don't ask River the same question either. All you need to know is that they bit a teacher in class, which made Leighton summon Bailey to school. One can imagine the punishment after that.
Winter considers them to be his best student, and is pleased when they started showing genuine interest in history. A bit concerned about where they keep getting these valuable artifacts, though...
They tried to be nice to Kylar, especially since he's always bullied a lot. Apparently, this turns out to be a big mistake because before they knew it, he kidnapped them, and they had to ask Bailey for help. Which didn't help the complicated relationship the two already have.
Avery prizes them, and they always make sure that they appear endearing to him. The extra cash to pay Bailey always helps, after all. Also if Bailey wins during poker night coughs which I absolutely make sure never happens nuh-uh I don't rig the game in his favor coughs he charges them immediately in his house. Bro's also angrier than usual if this happens, too.
Has a neutral relationship with Sydney. He's the librarian she would go to every time she wants to borrow a book or buy new clothes, and they're the student he would see during lunch time.
Is absolutely terrified of Quinn, especially after he won the poker night one time and they suddenly woke up in the landfill. Started spitting in his drink after that and making sure he wouldn't win ever again. And also started listening to Bailey's warnings more.
Did I mention they have a complicated relationship with Bailey.
If murder was legal in this game in this town they wouldn't murder Leighton. They would keep him alive and watch him suffer for sport.
Regularly interacts and makes deals with Landry and Mickey so they can keep evading the cops.
Never let me have a fixed design for a character that can have numerous transformation ever again because I KNEW I'd get sick of the cat TF and suffer trying to get the Fox TF instead 💀
