Daddy died the last weekend of July, 2012 in a car accident. He was broadsided by another car shortly after 10pm. The police notified me later that evening.
I couldn't tell you the first day we met online over 7 years ago, but Daddy could. I couldn't tell you the first day we talked on the phone, or the first time he said, "I love you" or the other firsts that are so important now, but he could tell you all of them. I can tell you the first time he flew to see me, and the first time I flew to see him, and the day he moved to be with me. Those were all monumental, and etched in my brain. We were together ever since.
The worst day of all is the one Daddy was taken from me forever, and that day will never be forgotten. I just have to hope that one day I will be with him again.
