-i'm an adult but i don't do smut. mentions or discussions of sex is still okay as long as it isn't overbearing.
-various other mature themes are likely to show up. Thurnicel isn't as dark as some Princes, but they're still a Daedra. "mad scientist" tropes apply to them in particular
-their name is pronounced THURN-ih-cell
-they/them pronouns but they don't mind being called "it." if they're referred to in-character with masculine or feminine words, they'll assert their lack of gender.
-the pfp is a placeholder
-in general, things might change and move around a lot
-i'll add more to this as i think of things it's been a rlly long time since i had an rp blog
below the cut is extra character info
They're always glad to receive new specimens for study, but they get the most excited over the prospect of new mortal followers or other Daedra acknowledging their Princehood. They're generally courteous and agreeable as long as nothing gets violent.
Their domain also includes sound, music, dance, and scientific inquiry. They have a particular interest in the internal structures of living things; they're infamously untiring and ruthless in their experiments, but as much of a butcher as they can be, they're also highly skilled at repair.
They're very nonviolent for a Prince. They'll defend themself, their followers, and their things, but they don't do revenge. They consider themself a diplomat and will usually try to talk their way out of anything first. They're very complimentary and mean every word; there is no such thing as ugly or undesirable to Thurnicel.
They have two main forms. One is a regular-looking but gigantic moth with a white head and thorax, black eyes, limbs, and antenna, and dark reddish-brown wings with white spots. The other is a person of average height and build, wearing red silk robes and walking barefoot, unremarkable except that they have a moth's head.
In both forms, they have a long, coiled proboscis which has a sharp, knife-like tip for piercing flesh. This, in tandem with a powerful paralysis spell, is their main method of dealing with enemies if they have to resort to violence.
It depends on what you mean by "related." I do refer to them as my siblings on occasion, but it isn't literal. It's more akin to how members of some organizations refer to each other as family--we're all more alike than different, and we're much stronger when we work together. I don't have an active alliance with any of them.
I'm the same type of being as them, with the same kind of power, but as far as I know, my ascension didn't have anything to do with any of them. I used to be a lesser Daedra, so I could have previously lived as one of their subjects, but I'm afraid those memories are lost.
So, I suppose the answer is "not really" or "I'm not sure." Why do you ask?
Oh! [They seem a little surprised.] It's a pleasure to meet you. I haven't had the honor of speaking to Prince Sanguine yet, I didn't know he had a child. I am Prince Thurnicel.

"He wants to see moth friend make art of the destruction of the bodies! To see them tear and rip and scratch flesh in a delirium! For the water to run red when moth friend washes the scalpel!" He meowed.
"I see! I wouldn't call it delirium, but I do enjoy such things." They waved their hand and a portal opened in the room, dropping a dead imp onto a table. "I just obtained this a little while ago. My followers offer me things like this from time to time. We should see what's going on in there before it decays, yes?" They began gathering up tools, such as scalpels and a saw.
"Yes, yes!! She will watch!" Rampage said excitedly, watching them gather the tools they needed intently, definitely taking notes in her head. "This one is kind of jealous of friend. He would like followers who bring him cool stuff too!"
"They do come in handy..." They started with a long incision down the abdomen and began rooting around. It wasn't all that bloody, since the imp had been deceased a little while, but Thurnicel's hands were still covered in red within seconds. As they worked on cutting out the first organ to examine, their thoughts wandered, and it finally occurred to them that this situation was a little strange. "I'm happy if the youth are interested in my kind of work, but what is someone so young doing here? Did your parents bring you?"
Rampage watched, absolutely enamoured. She licked her lips when they cut out the first organ, her tail starting to twitch slightly in anticipation, but the question took him right out of the mesmerized state he was previously in.
"He's not that young! He travels all on his own." Rampage assured them, crossing his arms proudly.
"His parents are way too busy, so they let him explore! And he likes to explore things like this," He pointed at the imp. "the same as all other things. Important to know how organs work if he will want to torture in the future by slowly removing them one by one, after all."
"Ah, well, forgive my presumptions then," they said breezily. They made quick work of the rest of the innards, seeing as imps were pretty small, and everything was arrayed on the empty half of the table. "Would you like to take a turn with things? You may try whatever you like." They weren't always so giving, but they were happy to meet someone so young who was eager to learn about these things.
"Yes yes yes, Rampage would like!!" They chirped excitedly, already reaching for one of the scalpels, before remembering that they had a way better tool already at their disposal- and pulling out their hat pin instead. The sharp end of the pin was covered in relatively fresh blood, which Rampage wiped with one of their paws, ready to get it covered in blood all over again.
A hat pin seemed a strange tool to them, but then, Rampage did say they were looking to be a torturer. It was probably great for things like that. Thurnicel stood aside and watched with interest.
Truthfully, the hat pin was not her ideal weapon, but it was the easiest to carry around everywhere without worrying about needing a sheath. If she was preparing for battle, she'd probably grab one of her daggers. And of course she always dreamed of being able to wield her parent's razor, but for the sake of public – and her own – safety, she was forbidden from doing so.
Rampage made a few small cuts and incisions along the surface of the imp's skin, before pulling out a lot of smaller veins out with her claws. She laughed triumphantly once she had a good amount of them layed out of the table by the rest of the innards, before starting to slowly remove the imp's skin, still using just the hat pin and her claws.
"Her papa says these make for good pelts!" She explained, "But she isn't that good at working with leather. She's slowly learning blacksmithing, though."
They watched quietly, taking mental notes on her technique, which was new to them. They could be as interested in the "how" of doing something as they were the "what."
"It sounds like you keep busy," they said. "So your papa is teaching you blacksmithing? Did he teach you to take things apart, as well?"
"Mhm, mhm!" The kitten eagerly nodded. "She was taught by her parents most stuff she knows. Her papa mostly taught her how to gut things for cooking, though! And how to sew flesh atronach parts together, too. It was her other parent that showed her she could take things apart very slowly, one by one, to ensure they are in pain longer. Fun, fun!"
"Fun," Thurn agreed. "I learned a similar lesson when I was younger. I used to take things apart rather recklessly...then someone informed me I could keep things alive if I was more careful, saving the time I would have had to spend gathering more specimens."

what would you do if an orphan came to your door and asked for money?
I would tell one of my assistants to deal with it. What happens next depends on the assistant, they're most likely to give them some money and direct them to the nearest orphanage. Some assistants might come up to me asking if we can keep them, though, so... I would have to be careful with who I assigned this task, depending on which outcome I favored.
"The land is the Prince and the Prince is the land," is correct, but the other Moons usually contain large reserves of a Deity's power- if not outright acting as their primary realm as a whole. It's easy to dismiss them as mere celestial rocks from afar, but they're their own pockt realities! Simply shaping part of your realm like one wasn't enough to create one, it needed an active fragment to fully function.
With it now being powered correctly, it should perform its duties as expected. Should any more troubles arise, checking whether or not it is still a functioning pocket realm should be the first priority. Because you are a Prince, this should be noticable by the presence of Chaos Creatia flowing with your essence.
[The incorporeal voice falls quiet, in its silence it leaves behind the presence of absence.]
I see. Yes, I'll remember this if anything else goes awry. A good lesson to learn and nothing was harmed in the process! If only all lessons were like that.
[They briefly wonder about the voice, but there are many strange things in Oblivion and they have other things to get to.]

As for the lack of proper day-night cycle... The other moons of the Aurbis are typically remnants of other Deities. The lack of movement may be due to it's artifical nature, it lacks that life essence. Have you tried putting a fragment of yourself into yours?
I never considered it. "The land is the Prince and the Prince is the land," I've read something like that somewhere. Wouldn't it already be part of me?
[They glow briefly and raise their arms, seeming to direct some kind of energy to the moon. Then they clap their hands together excitedly.] But I think that did it! I can sense its movement now and it should set for the first time tonight. You have my thanks.
Try giving it a slap, that usually fixes technical errors
Slap it? You want me to slap the moon? That makes no— [They sigh.] I said I wanted help, so I'll try it.
[They teleport themself up to the moon's surface, and though it feels ridiculous, they smack the ground. They pound it with a fist and even kick it a couple times. After a moment, the moon's wild rotation stops.]
...Well! It fixed one problem, at least. Moons are usually tidally locked, you know, you're not supposed to see both sides of them, so that was bothering me too. I shouldn't have doubted you so quickly, faceless friend.
I'm at my wit's end. I was trying to keep quiet about this out of pride, but I'm just too frustrated to care now. Can anyone tell me how to fix my moon??
I made a moon to go with my realm's sun but somehow, despite my best efforts, it got stuck in the sky. It just spins and spins without ever going down! We have daily eclipses because of this thing!! I'm this close to getting rid of it but I really want a moon. I don't know why it went wrong. I'll be very grateful for an answer.
