( ❝☤ ) – “Ah.” Fun’s over. He knows that tone of voice well enough to realize now is the perfect time for him to find the right sized coffin and save her some effort by laying right the fuck down in it.
She’s just gonna open up one quick portal and jump right into the coffin with him. Suffer Yamai, you’re going to be cuddled to death by a big demon mama.
carnivorarium:
( ❝☤ ) – “A-Are you sure? Just triple? Maybe you should– should– sextuple it!” He’s about 3 seconds away from finding out what it’s like to die from oxygen deprivation.
❝ YAMAI YOU’RE A FUCKING GENIUS. ❞ Shes fucking dying, she hadn’t been expecting that shit pun from her friend. Run away, cause when she finds you, suffocating is going to be the least of your worries this time.
carnivorarium replied to your post: How much of a sinner are you?
Yamai is dead and this is what killed him
❝ It’s bullshit. I’m at least triple that. ❞
How much of a sinner are you?
carnivorarium:
( ❝☠ ) – A rather undignifying snort ( not that he cared about such things as dignity or esteem ) was let out at the frank, but incredibly honest and accurate, description. That sounded about right. “Good, ‘cause if I looked anythin’ other ‘n that, I’d have to redo my whole appearance. If I can’t look at least a little gay, ‘n what’s the point? Kind’a bit the end of your tongue off there with ‘nonflamboyant’– ya just ain’t been around me long enough t’ catch onto it yet.”
His grin was quick to dampen ever so slightly as he watched the other, aiming to pick up on what behaviors and patterns he could to further read into the man. He liked to be ahead of the game, so far that by the time it was all over, he would be able to call exactly how it would end and who would walk away with the victory. In this type of environment, watching that little parlor trick and listening to how he talked, Xenon shouldn’t feel as uncertain as he did. Was it the familial connections the guy had, or was it something a little deeper that he didn’t care to explore or uproot for further examination.
It was all idiocy was what it was. No reason to take this seriously at all. So he told himself, and so he would force himself to believe until this event faded into the back of his head like so many others.
“Yeesh, ‘n here I thought I might be the geezer. Guess I’m a good for nothin’ youngester, considerin’ the sound of those names bore me t’ death.” He leaned back a bit, violet eyes flicking up towards the ceiling as he resisted the urge to purr out a generic excuse and leave without any promises for a reconcilation. Most first meetings didn’t even involve a name.
“Xenon. Fuck knows how old I am, I’ve got mush for brains ‘n a hole in the side of my head t’ prove it. I’d say somewhere over two thousand, although ‘m gonna be forever 23 for as much as I care. Alrighty then, that’s out of the way….” he leaned forward and offered a sly smile that offered only bad decisions and longstanding regrets. “How many guys ‘n gals have you used this song and dance on?”
Rex rose a brow at the other’s snort, the corners of his mouth twitching up into a faintly visible grin. He had a feeling he wasn’t the only one going to be biting something soon, but his comment shockingly stayed down in his throat.
He listened, surprisingly closely. The coin was caught between his thumb and fingers, held still while the other spoke. He tilted his head softly. So, the other was a lot younger than he assumed, oh well. He hummed, glancing up at the ceiling as he tried to remember the exact number. ❝ Not a tactic i usually use, maybe...4 gals and 1 guy? But, the song and dance always change on who it is. That one guy is proving to be very lucky with what he’s learning. ❞
He shrugged, seeming no use in lying and saying Xenon was the only one. He was a liar, sure, but what would it benefit here? His elbow rested on the table, resting his chin in his palm calmly. If Xenon was trying to get him flustered and trip him up, it wasn’t working. Well, it was, but he wasn’t going to let the other know. Xenon didn’t need to know that he already had that kind of power over him ❝ Most don’t want to come to a cafe full of monsters. Then again I don’t really go for relationship often either. ❞
Rex glanced at the door, ears twitching faintly before he looked at Xenon as someone else walked in. He never really seemed to relax that much.

❝ Gah! ❞ Sam yelped out of habit, the corpse falling back hard with the collision. Black fog began to flow from the corpse’s mouth, Sam pulling herself out. Loud growling came as the demon’s arm shot out from the bodies’ mouth.❝ Oh, You little WHORE. ❞
Angered chirping Came from the demoness, eyes opening up along her arms and torso. The sound of her paws on the pavement were easy to hear in the sudden uneasy silence. Her claws itched to feel Iri’s blood on her own hands now. ❝ I was going to make your death relatively QUICK, but now… ❞
Sam’s snarl turned to a grin, a glow reflecting from the back of her throat, alcohol she’d consumed and her body produced now lit. Her hair beginning to glow. It’s bright blue tones now replace with an almost blinding white. The black vine tattoos covering her skin glowing just the same, yet not as harshly. A clawed hand snatching out to grab her by the hair, cooing almost lovingly in her ear. ❝ Oh, Iri, Iri, Iri. I should thank you. You reminding me of my life as Joan has only made me stronger, now I’m truly considered a Queen down below. But- ❞
Her grip became tighter, her other hand coming up, colder than the vacuum of space. It was cold to the point it burned like a couple Blue suns. ❝ Your methods…They aren’t useful to me. Oh we could have been great friends, really. To think, remembering what killed you in a past life could make you stronger, you have no idea how useful that is to me from a military stand point. ❞
The look in now blue eyes only confirmed how serious she truly was. ❝ If you weren’t such a psychotic- No, no, no. You aren’t psychotic. You don’t deserve that word. In fact, in this moment and time, you’re not even a person. You’re nothing but a thing, and like most things humans put their dirty little hands on- It’s time for you to break. ❞
Her hand released the other’s chin, though pulled harder on her hair. Her index finger ever so gently caressing Iri’s jaw line, tilting her head up. Her expression was the same empty, fake, loving, motherly look Iri had given her oh so many times. ❝ Oh, and about poor, precious Yamai. He’s not your’s. And he was NEVER or ever will be, your’s. ❞
( ❝❤ ) – Was that FEAR she felt quickening her heart, so much she felt as though it was going to IMPLODE and send shards flying out to pierce through her skin and shatter her completely? The heat emanating from the rapid pulsating told a different story than the ice freezing her veins and leaving her there to gawk like a child staring at their nightmare monster crawling out of the closet. This was a vile heat that would turn abhorrance and disgust her way from every living creature within a mile radius, should they be able to read her thoughts and what they perpetuated.
Even as her conscious commanded that she flee or at least barricade and be driven down to her grave by filthy hands not fit to pick the rot and decay from the yellowing teeth in that yowling corpse’s mouth, a displaced excitement had her heart a flutter. Her heart… her heart… yes, she knew in her heart. What? What did she know?
‘this repulsive woman, eaten away and formed over and over by the whims of time, her recovered memories did this to her. just like she said.’
A violent trembling overtook Iri’s body, convulsing along her spine and originating at a jolt of her shoulders that further wrenched her throat in Sam’s iron grip. The tugging of her hair was irritating her scalp so that it felt as though it were tearing away, her neck burning and straining beneath the limp weight of her marble-esque body. Numbing heat seeped through her limbs, centering in waves and pulses at her rapidfire heart, providing such an ecstacy too purely derived from herself and herself alone to be considered a product of some depraved fantasy or intimate memory. What fear remained at the surface rather than sticking into her delusioned heart like thorns of a twisting rose twined itself through the jerky movement of her arms and shaking of her fingers as they loosely scrabbled against the arm forcing her to remain in place.
“You see? You see? I made you better! If it wasn’t for me, you’d still be A GROVELING MAGGOT IN THE DIRT, crushed beneath the heel of what you forgot!” she exclaimed hoarsely with a shrieked, cracked victorious laugh not unlike the unnerving cackle of a nefarious hyena. “I–” she panted, lips twitching as a smile attempted to claw its way to the surface and twist her expression into something less impassioned, “I was right. Imagine what I could do with him. Imagine– imagine what I could do with you.”
—she really did believe her own LIES, didn’t she?
Her voice cracked and faded away with a shrill, disconcerted whine as Sam’s cold, callous finger trailed along her jawline. Wide, liquid gray eyes with piercing craze rolled to the side, attempting in vain to follow the path. Where would it lead? …was this how she died? WONDERFUL. SPLENDID. SHE WANTED TO CRY.
“……Yamai?” she repeated the name, another spike of hyperawareness spearing her through the stomach as a deranged gaze darted about wildly. Envy crawled up from the pits of her chest to complete the job of choking her air out. “You’re going to break me? Go ahead, go ahead! I’ll be like him then… so much closer to him… let me taste what it’s like on the other side!”
but she wouldn’t come back. and she was S C A R E D, shaking like a leaf, close to begging for forgiveness.
A soft chuckle came from the Demoness, to hear her say it, it only made the temperature of her skin drop further. A maggot? No. Ignorant? Yes, she’d admit she had been. She couldn’t help but laugh. Her laugh would come out shrill and cruel. It would seem to echo much farther than it should. Her hand pulled tighter on Iri’s hair, truly threatening to rip it right out of her scalp. ❝ I am not stronger because of YOU. I am stronger because my husband forced me to remember everything, all of it, and pieced me back together after you BROKE ME. YOU deserve no credit for how I am now. ❞
Anger rang through her voice, clearer than a bell. Yet it somehow remained sweet as sugar. Her hand leaving Iri’s jaw, coming up in front of her face, eyes opening on her palm to stare her down. Her back cracked as move bone formed and jutted out. Another set of arms forming piece by piece before of Iri’s eyes, hanging disgustingly limp as muscle formed on the naked bone. blood beginning to pour from her body as the blood vessels and veins led to nowhere.
❝ I lost a CHILD because of you. I lost my husband’s first born DAUGHTER from our union, because of YOU. ❞ She roared. What could only be considered close to magma beginning to flow out of her mouth. The heat in the air becoming only more intense as her anger grew. She stepped closer to Iri, making sure not to get a drop of the molten material on the woman as her hands pressed to the wall behind Iri. Her hands glowing as the wall began to smolder and blacken.
❝ I do not care how old you are- ❞ She warned, moving back a hand pulling back and striking Iri with most of her strength across her cheek. The back of her hand hot enough to melt flesh off of bone, to char bone like paper. ❝ You are nothing but a stain on my dear Iridium’s name. The tale of you has traveled through hell. You are the reason my daughter can no longer rest peacefully. You are the reason my heart ached during the times of Corsets and Syphilis. ❞
She lifted a foot, attempting to stomp down onto Iri, missing, but the claw of her paw grazing fabric, lighting it ablaze. All her anger from the past two hundred years beginning to be chaneled into Iri’s oncoming slaughter.
"So, uh, technically speakin'- and I mean this in the technical'a most technical ways -if I were t', like, y'know, accidentally summon some weird shit that DEFINITELY exists, I should tell someone right? And not try to feed it t' this dude I know that eats everythin'. Right?" (From Xenon bc ya girl still logged out)
❝ Boy. You are the reason I drink. ❞ The demoness sighed, smoke leaving her lungs as she sat down in one of her over stuffed chairs. Clawed fingers drumming on the arm rest as she thought. ❝ Technically speaking, you shouldn’t feed it to anyone. You do not know the consequences such a thing can have. Now, technically, telling your mother about what you summoned so she can be a good mummy and clean up after you again is definitely something you should do. So, TECHNICALLY, what. Did. You. Summon. ❞
Her voice growing deeper as she spoke the last sentence, leaning forward towards Xenon.
❝ Audrey, darling. Be a dear for Mother and return to your room. ❞
"Now darling, just how am I supposed to give you an obligatory late Valentine's Day kiss when you're already so tall AND wearing heels? I'm almost tempted to say this is a cruel joke played personally against me and my unfortunate height." (From Yamai 'cause I'm a fool logged on my personal)
❝ I do have hair, you know. It might as well be a handle at this point. If you desired your late Valentine’s day kiss, you could have simply tugged on it to gain my attention, my precious little friend.~ ❞
❝ Who dares to disturb my slumber. ❞
❝ Note to self, don’t go into Sam’s room on Valentine’s day. ❞
( Happy Valentine's Day you fuckin' nerd, I hope you had a good one ♡ )

The New Era of Claymore {Closed}
nightmare-fantasia:
Zara had tracked the energy to a forest on the outskirts of the city. Once there, she saw the phone’s screen illuminate the darkness. It did not take long before the nerves began to set in. She knew she was going to be in trouble the moment she received the assignment. The other Claymore’s in the area did not envy her mission. Some thought she had a death wish when they heard that she had accepted it. And maybe she did. \
If this is my last mission, so be it. I sick and tired of workin’ for the Organization. I think multiple centuries is enough. I’ve paid my dues. Heh. Maybe they want me gone, if they give me this freakin’ mission. That’s fine with me.
Taking a deep breath, Zara steeled herself for what was to come and entered the forest. There she wasted no time in calling out her target.
“Oi! I saw that you wanna play a game! If ya do, come out here and we can talk about it! I ain’t afraid of games!”
Games. She liked games. Though not the same kind that most of her species liked. Sure, tricking humans was fun, and sure the more disturbing things were even more so. But nothing beat cat and mouse, chess, even hopscotch, in her mind. Perhaps it was her privileged life that had helped retain this childish nature in the young demoness. Pale arms suddenly stuck out clear in the moonlight and dark as she swung down from her hiding place in a tree. She had been hoping the other would follow the trail she’d made further and allow Nat to get behind her. This would have been ended quickly if she had. Talk about it, the idea made the mute want to cackle if it wouldn’t have hurt her throat. Blue eyes gave off a surprisingly calm glow as she watched the other. She could smell it, the pheromones released when anxiety began to build. The scent all too familiar and burned into her mind from the battlefields. Not to mention, she was feeling dangerous tonight. But not as a danger to the other, but to herself. The air becoming heavy with her mere presence as she reached into her pocket, producing a burner phone to communicate, but stay at a distance. She lifted herself up once again, legs hooking on the limb to free her hands. She dangled, silent, simply staring the other down for the time being, seeing if she was really interested in playing, or if she’d attack.
does my anger unsettle you?
does it make you uncomfortable?
does it SCARE you?
GOOD.
