Hi, I'm Nicki. Welcome to Daevic Flux, my fangirl blog for a long-time obsession: Aion. I'm a geek from Birmingham, Alabama. I have played various games over the years, mostly FPSs. Aion was my first MMO. I loved the game, especially PVP. The purpose of this blog is to catalog and share Aion-related items that I run across in-game or on the net. Daeva of Ho-ing, I mean, Betrayal

Can we talk for just a moment about what a complete and utter douchebag this NPC is?

His info reads: “Thersites is a Daeva of Betrayal who strolls the Sky Canal located between the Divine Road and the Sky Garden in Sanctum. He seems very sad.“

“Sad” ... right ...

More like: He’s too cowardly to deal with the messes he creates, he has YOU (the player) do it for him.  From killing his lovers (Eninte, Simunai) to dealing with his illegitimate child (Harmone), this guy really takes the cake!

I think I skipped most of his related quests in retail, but after playing through them in Classic, I really REALLY dislike this guy.

All bout dem Groggies

If you are level 45 or higher, you should now have a daily quest that you can do for Groggies (A/E).  That’s a form of currency you can use to get the quest items needed to open up your advanced stigma slot.  (thereby avoiding SR!)

Once Dark Poeta drops, you can opt to grab your last advanced stigma quest items from there OR do the Groggie dailies, so unless you plan to live in DP, START DOING THESE NOW!   :)

Asmodians see Chaokiki in Pandaemonium, Elyos see Chaokin in Sanctum.

Updated abyss siege schedule ... I’ll fix my calendar as soon as I get a few minutes to put brain cells together and get it done.  XD

I finally hit 45 and got my “good buffs” slotted, yay!  now working on unlocking my other advanced stigma slot and trying to get to 46 so I can start doing TLabs and get some better gear!  :D

Starting today at 10 a.m. and lasting through Monday, August 23, all players in Aion Classic will be able to claim three FREE days of Siel’s Aura! This bonus will be most notable for players who have not yet made the jump from our Free Trial to Siel’s Aura, so be sure to try it out! The benefits are numerous, and we hope many Daevas get to make the most of them! Existing Siel’s Aura subscribers will get to add the extra time to their current balance.

Claim Your Free Aura

To claim your free 3-day Siels’ Aura, head into the Quna shop. There you will find a free 3-day aura, which will be automatically activated and added to your existing time balance once it’s claimed.

You can collect this 3-day bonus anytime from Friday, 10 a.m. PDT until Monday, 10 a.m. PDT and then discover the benefits! Only one 3-day bonus per account can be claimed.

The Benefits

There are many perks to Siel’s Aura. Most notably, players will find that their XP rate is not reduced by 50% with an active Siel’s Aura. Additionally, players can acquire Kinah, Essence Tap items, and acquire all rarities of items while engaging in open-world play.

Players also gain the ability to earn AP via quests, and make direct trades with other players and private shops.

Other Perks

Siels’ Aura isn’t the only perk currently coming your way. Players of all factions can currently receive a bundle of potions & scrolls to help them navigate their way to their capital city, so long as they have reached level 10. In addition, Asmodian players on Israphael are being blessed with XP Charms at various levels between 15-35 to help with their progression from now through September 1.

It’s an excellent time to jump into Aion Classic in earnest! We hope that the boosts above will help make it easy to get fully underway and accelerate your advancement towards becoming a top Daeva in no time.

Draupnir Cave and Indratu shortcut

(I apologize now, I don’t have the Asmo equivalent info at this time!)

I’m sure by now everyone has seen posts in LFG asking for DC parties with the shortcut.  No?  You will soon.  ;)

The shortcut to Indratu and Draupnir Cave areas are in Heiron.  You do the [Group] Hokuna Matata quest to unlock it.  It's located in the waterfall in the pond on the right in the Kishar Village (just up from the Kishar Observation Post).
