Hi, everyone. I’ve been thinking for a while now about how else I can use my platform to support the Black Lives Matter movement. Putting aside what I do in my personal life, I’m uniquely privileged in that I have a large following on this blog and a skill set I can use to raise money for a cause. So! With that in mind, I will be doing the following: 

THE PLAN: a long one-shot, the details of which will be decided upon through voting by my followers (do not need to donate to participate).

THE GOAL: $1,000 donated to any of the organizations/charities here.  

I’m aware this is a large amount, but since I have over 33,000 people following me here, I figured the amount makes sense. If everyone donates just one dollar, we’ll instantly raise more than $30,000, let alone $1,000. 

Voting for the fic is open now – LINK HERE – and will remain open through midnight tomorrow, June 4th (EST). I know this is not a lot of time to vote, but I would like to start writing whatever wins this weekend. I plan on posting as soon as $1,000 is donated (or if that happens very quickly, whenever I’m finished LOL).

Yeah our governor just extended our stay at home order and pushed back the date that places like my place of work might reopen, even when they do reopen I can’t help but wonder if they’ll take all of us back like they said because I’m sure the economy won’t bounce back quickly enough for us to see the kind of business we used to do right away, so I expect more of us will want full time and there will be less hours to go around. It just looks bad all around, so I’ve been updating my resume and churning out cover letters in between anxious cookie baking and frequent naps 😬

i am so excited and i’m sure it will! i am doing my best to stay positive not only for my own sake but for everyone i know who is looking to me and others for an idea of what to expect because i live in a big city hit hard by the virus and most of my friends and family are still anxiously anticipating when it will reach them. 

jungkookie helps! every day his smile helps me remember i still have things to look forward to! 

and now that i am indefinitely laid off i have time for things like cleaning and working out and writing and i am healthy so far!! not that everything is roses or that the situation isnt serious, but i am working hard to keep a good attitude. i’m honestly thankful for this bunny project because the deadline is giving me at least a little structure

I am actually an OT7 through and through! I tried to pick just one in the beginning, but it was futile. I do get into kicks where one member will hold my attention for a short period of time, and that is currently Jungkook! He was just so breathtaking in “ON.” 😳 —🌱 [BeanSprout]
