As we enter the last days of pride month I’ll leave you with these. We were shown this year that pride is more important than ever. Not the perceived sinful pride of the Bible or pride goeth before the fall but the pride of survival. Of knowing one’s self. Of being brave enough to be one’s true self in the face of those who would have us play small, be less and assimilate. Pride month is just a set of dates but we need to continue this energy far beyond this month. Continue to stand up for ourselves, and all others who need a voice.
