So, with the latest Raiders trailer, time for a new headcanon (or two).

With Frye giving the Mechanic their new haircut/style (and presumably any others after that during character creation?), headcanon that she also cuts her sister's hair. They're very upset that she's gone missing because, aside from the expected missing family member drama, their hairdresser is gone! They have another, but she doesn't do it right! Frye you have to come home now!! :( :(

Also headcanon that she got good at it in middle school by cutting her own/styling Shiver's hair. Shiv wanted a certain hairstyle but didn't want to ask her family/ask at the stylist's while her family was There, and Frye was like "oh, I'll do it!". It might not've been great the first few times, but Shiver liked it anyway. Frye still does it for her (and is much better about it now).

When Shiver got home that first time after Frye did her hair, her family was probably like "Your hair looks different." ("Yeah, Frye did it for me.") "I see..." [long awkward silence and it's never mentioned again but there's a sort of judgy feeling in the air...]

I posted something new! Some more Cyberpunk AU; technically part of SkH (and not actually new new, as I’ve had this WIP for a while), but I wasn’t sure if I’d wanted it as part of the main series. Takes place between chapters 4 and 5. You can check it out over here!

Random post and afaik this hasn’t happened, but: please do not feed any of my work to any sort of genA/ thing. I’ll also never use it in any of my writing/art (I mean I only do traditional art anyway but) in case that was a concern. Any work I post or link on this blog is 100% made by me!

Get yourself a massive eel creature gf so she can reach the things on the top shelf at the grocery store for you! Never mind that taking her into the grocery store may or may not be a bad idea (if not for safety reasons, it’d be like when they say don’t shop hungry)

Though saying that did make me think of that image meme from a while ago that was like [tall person picks up short person so they can grab the thing on the shelf] and you know. Frye would lol

It’s Ween!!

I have good news! I’ve actually made some progress on the next chapter of The Eel today, so hopefully I’ll be able to have it out soon… if not this weekend (which I’m aiming for) then maybe by the next one?

I haven’t looked at SkullHacker in probably too long (what do you mean it’s no longer June? It can’t be any later than August… right?), but the next chapter of that was also pretty deep in progress since the last time I worked on it. I’ll try and finish that after I update Eels! I’ve been thinking about it and want to get back to it, too.

I did also smack out a little for a new one shot (or two), and have relocated some of my docs from The Goog to Ellipsus. It’s pretty nice! I feel a little better writing there than on the app that may be scraping all my work the feed The Machine.

I hadn’t been able to comfortably work since my old desk was a mess (built a computer and found out the case was larger than I thought, and it took up a lot of the space), but now I have a new and larger desk, so I can finally write without having to move a bunch of things. It has space for my PC monitor and laptop! Floor space for the tower! I can even sit at it properly! Hooray!

I hope you know how life changing hell and high water was for me as fanfic like the Settings and The Way The Plot flowed so well that I still had the same sense of wonder and excitement for each chapter GENUINELY IS SO AMAZING AND COOL AND AWESOME and thank you for making something this good

hwwwwooghgghh thank you!! I wrote a little before (creatively/ff wise, anyway. many an essay has passed through my laptop) but HHW was the first real multi-chapter thing I’d done. Hearing people say they liked it means so much to me! And of course thank you for reading it, too!
