She merely nodded. She wasn’t fine, not by any means. But she was a l i v e. They we both alive and they were going to stay that way. She’d make sure of it. She grabs his hand, setting off into a run. She won’t lose him. She can’t.
‘ i’m pretty sure I saw some old building up here. we can hide out in there for a while. ‘
bobby sighs, it’s soft and he can barely hear it. & once she takes his hand he follows after her as close as he can, eyes & ears keen and waiting for any danger to come about. he’d seen the building too, he wanted to say something but they were being chased and he didn’t want to risk it.
❛ alright, hopefully it’s clear, yeah? ❜
lawrence.
Now, if Dagen was something more than just a fucking liar, if he wasn’t such a hypocrite, then his words could have meant something. But none of these brave victims —— survivors, deserved to share their stories with him. He could only pretend to understand, but he didn’t.
The doctor only smiles, quite mocking, and then he nods his head lightly, with his cane in a tight grip. “I believe most of you get the idea of what have occurred. No need to get into details.”
there’s guilt deep inside of him, it started when the meetings began. it was all a ploy, he needed cash and this seemed like it would work; he didn’t think of the repercussions. he didn’t think of the actual survivors, of the people who had gone through jigsaw traps, really and survived. & as he listened to each one of their stories the guilt grew larger and larger. listening to all of the pain and suffering they’d gone through, sure, bobby dagen was a pathological liar at this point, but he wasn’t a sociopath; he knew what he was doing and it bore weight on his shoulders.
& he also knew that if anyone was actually onto his lies, it was probably dr. gordon. ❛ i don’t ask them to, they share what they’re comfortable with and i encourage them. sometimes, talking helps. ❜
addy.
addison hears the name, and it throws her off guard; should she be looking for someone else as well? hell, she hadn’t even been looking for him but here he was all injured and she wasn’t sure if it was from z’s or some other kind of monster. despite the urge to make herself seem less threatening, she gripped the z-whacker harshly. this man was broken down, but she was not about to immolate herself to become anyone’s warmth. “my name is addy,” she broke the silence as she cautiously moved forward towards him. the blood on his shirt increasingly looked like his own. “are you infected?”
HE LEANS FORWARD, nearing the stranger & almost willing himself to collapse. but he doesn’t, he knows he needs to calm down & COMMUNICATE but words do not come to mind; just thoughts of joyce. & he’s almost holding his hand out, too, for what he can’t quite figure out himself. - a deep breath, IN & OUT and he’s calming down a bit, straightening his posture and trying to even out his breaths.
brows knit together at her question. infected? no - not that he could remember. he watches her grip hold of her ... bat? tighter, too, & he responds by holding up his hands, palm-out.
❛ - ‘m bobby. ❜ there’s pain in his chest, horrible pain. ❛ no, i’m not. i’m not infected. ❜

“ you have no fucking idea what any of them have been through. you think this is an opportunity to help people, but no, it’s nothing but you getting off on the fame. how do you think they would feel knowing you’ve never been tested? huh? how the fuck would they feel? “
❛ no, i don’t, we’ve already established that. i’m not GETTING OFF on anything. sure, i like the attention && in the beginning i was only in it for the fame. but NOW? now i want to help these people. i can’t even begin to imagine how they’d feel. HEARTBROKEN? ANGRY? i’d be pissed off, but i think i’ve really helped some of these people. ❜
lawrence.

“I’ll pass. Thank you. And in all honesty, I can’t imgaine how this is supposed to help us move along with our lives.”
❛ I would love to hear from you during one of these meetings, if you wouldn’t mind. I’d just like to help people talk about what’s happened to them. Talking always seemed to help me when I was young - helped me get past things. It’s not for everyone, but it seems to be helping the few that do come every week. ❜
right now she was on her way to get veronica, which chandler demanded her and mcnamara to haul into the cafe asap. struggling to get past everyone, heather had a disgusted look on her face. most smart students in the hallway would step aside as soon as they saw the heathers. now - no one is getting out of her damn way && would you look at that: someone just knocked right into her.
❝ can you watch where you’re going, jackass? ❞
he wants to sigh and roll his eyes, he really does. insults didn’t bother him because he didn’t come by them too often. on rare occasion, walking down the hall like he had been, where one of the jocks would call out some slur. bobby would ignore them, though, because why give them the time of day? & some wouldn’t even call jackass an insult. so instead of doing anything stupid, he instead kneels down and picks up the dropped books; holding on to his and handing the others over to her.
❛ right. -- here. ❜
beth.
‘ hey, it’s okay. ‘
She speaks quietly, gently. She knows he’s afraid, she’s afraid too. But they made it. Both of them.
‘ can you keep runnin’?’
❛ yeah, i’m fine. are you okay? ❜ he feels as though he’s been in worse situations, and certainly she has too, but no matter what there’s always going to be a pounding nervousness in his chest. & he only nods.
amanda.
“ sorry means fucking nothing. you took advantage, not an opportunity. your second chance is a goddamn mockery. you’re a fucking mockery. “
❛ i took ADVANTAGE of an opportunity. i can’t respect what the jigsaw killer does but i acknowledge what he does and i’m trying to help people MOVE ON. call me a mockery all you’d like but i’ve helped people GET OVER what he’s put them through. ❜
