Please guys make sure your Black Panther tickets say Black Panther. Don’t let the movie theatres try and tell you they ran out of tickets and are just giving you a ticket under a different movie’a name. It’s take away from the official counting to see how many people actually saw the movie. DONT JUST LIKE THIS POST SHARE IT TO LET EVERYONE ELSE KNOW!
And that’s how I want you to think of her! That was Carrie!

“Do you ever wish you had stayed?” he asked so softly, she almost missed it.
“I think about it every day,” she paused. She hadn’t meant to admit that. He always knew how to get her to tell the truth. “What you were asking of me, it was too heavy. I couldn’t have done it, not the way you wanted me to.” She studied the floor for a second before asking, “Do you wish you had come with me?”
He took a couple steps closer. “Sometimes.”

Probably because Star Wars likes to break our fragile hearts
I’m gonna burn the galaxy down if they decide to recast him.

Let’s Talk About Feminism In The Last Jedi
A quick attempt to qualify myself at least a little before I get up on my soapbox: I hold a Master’s degree in Human Rights and my Master’s dissertation was a feminist legal critique of international human rights statutes. Another quick background note: Before The Last Jedi, I had no share in Star Wars fandom or any Star Wars-related ships. I saw The Force Awakens once, enjoyed it, but never dabbled in the fandom at all. I went into TLJ completely neutral and honestly rather casually. … That all changed real fast. One glance at my blog gives away that I immediately became a Reylo supporter. Due to all the controversy around it and the ‘anti’ backlash, I’ve felt a growing need to write this analysis/article/meta/whatever you want to call it to explain why I found the Reylo dynamic so compelling, refreshing, and necessary - and why I remain unmoved by any anti content I see. The argument I’m going to make here is that Rey’s characterization and the related Reylo dynamic not only supports a feminist reading of the film, but also explores productive new ground in a modern feminist depiction of fluid female/male identities.
Note: I certainly don’t think my opinion is the only correct one! The academic in me just feels the need to lay out my interpretation on a hotly-debated topic; Regardless of whether it convinces anyone, pisses people off, or gets wholly ignored. ☺

if i has to pick the least possible place to find a photoshopped picture of the Solo family in a confetti heart frame, it would have to be the gift shop of a sea lion cave in a small oregon town. and yet
Kylo Ren vs Praetorian Guards
Love people. That’s basically all Star Wars is.
George Lucas (via bastila-bae)
Is that not how the scene went?
At one point I was totally up for debating about the morality and blah blah blah of Ben Solo, but now I’m just at the point where two years of the same bullshit has worn me down.
So yeah, I love Ben Solo. He was intentionally written to be sympathetic. The whole cast and crew is fascinated by his character. His background is tragic and the path he went down could have easily been replicated by Rey.
No more bullshit. Just fun and hope that this character finds a happy ending, one preferably where he’s not alone, dead, in space prison, or stripped of his powers.
