Week 18 (It was concluded)

The final pitch made me so nervous, we discuss everything and ended up with the funny situation where I was the only one answering everything thus, I am still glad to have my team. They have been the biggest part why we achieve further than what we had last time. Also, I've learned to dwell with roler coaster of emotions with them.

Week 17 (The meet with CITL)

during the last day of meeting with Sir Kevin from ECCD we updated our Advicer Ms. Miriam about the status of the validation. I was so nervous facing them in a wide chair and discussing the idea. The nervouseness increases after I was ask about the incubation. With all honesty, I want to do the application because I want to push my limits however my coding skills are no pro. Thus, I discuss with my team and they asked if we could ask someone with wide knowledge of coding.

Week 15 - 16

For the final pitching we decided to take 2 days of discussion and experimentation about the question might possibly asked. As well as to check if the team really knows the crevices of the Appliacation.

Week 12 - 13 (Our Validation Continues)

For the new idea our team decided to interview further for our customers, we acquire teachers from public and some private schools to validate the usage of the application. Thus, we found out that in parents side they needed more user friendly environment and also a support in using the app. However, the ECCD suggested that we host a meeting/symposium in the usage of the application.

It was discuss that ECCD will host the symposium and we the team will be mentors assisted by other staff of the ECCD especially the coordinators.

Week 11 (Revenue Model )

From the last idea we struggled a lot with acquiring revenue, in Byutek, almost all of the revenue suggested by store owners requires one way flow of money. Thus, with the helped of the ECCD from the City office we were able to talked about the advertisement of the project, the recommendations, the public access and the revenue.

We were asked the questions of "What do you want us to do in order to help you sell your product?" As the main interviewer and also the representative I immediately thought of advertisement thus, not knowing the other source of income there could be. Mr. Kevin answered "that is nice we could bring your name and credit you always, we could also help with the advertisement just give us your amount". With all honesty I was shocked by this one, I who was just thinking that this simple idea could help parents would be praise by a Head Overseer of the City.

We discuss further about having a premium account so they could enter the app for data's they needed, afterwards they offer to purchase the entirety of the app in which we decided to farther refined the premium accounts as sustainable source of income for the team.

Week 10 (Creating Competitive Advantage)

There was not much of competitions in terms of similar functions of the application we identified locally but at first messenger would be a great competition since it both offers communication link and data exchange.

Week 9 (The Pivot, Verification)

During this time the acquired revenue options for the previous Byutek did not meet what was our expectations as a team. We interviewed almost all the shops here in Cagayan de Oro and the answers are the same for the attendants "It would be nice if WE ARE THE ONLY SHOP being showcase", we understand since the market is small and competition is tough.

Thus, within this time we discovered the channel Shark Tank where entrepreneurs from all over America bid for investments. It was a great show for beginners like us. we found a certain showcase for a BrightWheel where it integrates technology and education. It was a great ide for me, so I tried to ask personal questions if this would be a great help for me who has kids to attend to.

The very day I acquire this thoughts I immediately ask few neighborhood parents and elementary teachers around our area. Which then I was referred to Kinder Garten Teachers.

Technoprenuership Journey (week 10 -17)

After the midterms period, we have decided to pivot our idea for our technoprenuership project. From making a website to dwelling in application, the decision is tough because of the time constraints.

After a day of deliberation we came into decision of why not incorporate education in technology and business venture? We searched through google in possible inspiration and found a interesting show called Shark Tank. It has been the greatest gift to stumble upon that channel.

As a team leader I tried surveying for the nearest daycare to evaluate. Thus, lucky I have been granted to interview inspiring teachers from Macabalan CDO. We have been reffered to there chief of staff that luckily responded immediately. With the help also of our adviser and the City Hall it has been a smooth sailing.

Since the last time the biggest problem was our revenue model. We cannot move forward because of contrainst about the websites revenue and source of customers, thus, by interviewing Mr. Kalving Dalapo the Headd ECCD staff we are able to acquire and be enlighten about the process and was able to secure a connection for possible customers and the range of market we can enter.
