How to Create an NPV Or: How to Create V as a Unique NPC Or: Another Way to Get Two Vs in One Game

It has been a long time coming, but here it is! The guide to getting two (or more) Vs into a single game, updated to use new methods and take advantage of new tools and features that have become available. This guide should expand your horizons in terms of what’s possible when creating your NPV, as well as alleviating some of the more frustrating elements of the process.

A huge thank you to the Cyberpunk 2077 fan community as a whole, the Cyberpunks discord and my dearest friends for keeping me going- you know who you are, and I love you a whole bunch. And thank you to the modding community, and AMM in particular, for continuing to pioneer cool new tools and utilities; without them, this update couldn’t have happened.

Claire Hair - All Colors, M & F V, Physics Included

I know folks have refit Claire’s hair for both fem and masc V, but as far as I’m aware, it hasn’t yet been made available in all colors. So, this does that!

This hair mod:

is available for both feminine- and masculine-framed Vs, and with several options as to which hair to replace

will only replace V’s hair, and will not impact any NPCs

works with all colors, including colors not previously available for Claire’s hair and new 1.5 patch colors

retains the physics (the ‘woosh’) of the original hair style

has a custom shadow mesh that will display in FPP shadows

For fem V, you can choose to replace hair 01, 19, and/or 37. For masc V, you can choose to replace hair 01, 17, and/or 33.

As always, feel free to tag me in your pics using these, I’d love to see your Vs in the new colors (or just lookin’ cute in ‘em in general). Download links will be in the comments as usual <3

Merveilles & Choux - 2 New Hairs, F & M V

These two styles have been sitting in my WIPs, mostly finished, for a while now. Whoops 😅. They use the same bangs as the Beignet style, and thus are named to riff on that, idk, I thought it was cute.

Last I saw, we didn’t have an all-in-one-file version of Lizzy’s hair, so I thought this might be useful to some folks!

skip fight - bc the above cheating wasn’t enough and you literally don’t even want to deal with the fight (works on the high dragon on the sacred ashes quest, ser cauthrien, and yes, the archdemon and all the mooks in between)

all recipes - bc your warden is a giant nerd who knows how to make literally everything (console)

bodahn tweaks - bc if that guy really wanted to show his gratitude he would haggle less

kirkwall exports - bc your warden (or alistair, or morrigan, or anyone) is a total clotheshorse for those free marcher fashions (console)

expanded inventory - bc why bother with backpacks when you can cheat!

extra dog slot - bc you rescued that dog/grew up with that dog and neither of you wants to leave the other’s side

Because I found it an unacceptable travesty that Lavellan has a whole dialogue about being a halla-rider, yet doesn’t get to ride a halla. Features completely re-worked anatomy, lovingly handcrafted horns, and a halla-specific texture that changes ever-so-slightly with the model of hart you’re riding.

Dialogue Wheel Overhaul Release

Dialogue Wheel Overhaul (DWO) completely changes the way the game’s dialogue wheel works to make it more cohesive, universal, and functional.

This mod includes:

Over 180 reorganised dialogue wheels with reconfigured layouts,

Unlocks various exclusive dialogue options and makes them more accessible to in-game limitations and plot flags,

Various dialogue fixes such as fixing dialogue loop issues,

Renamed options to reflect more accurately what the Inquisitor is saying,

All dialogue options are now marked with mood tones similar to Mass Effect: Andromeda and Dragon Age 2,

Exiting conversations are now clearly marked.

Unlocked dialogue options as a result of in-game conversation are now marked.

Hey, do you remember these textures? It took me 3 years to get them ready for public release.😅

Now, I present to you –

Miranda’s new face textures (for MELE2)

Basically, it’s the same Miri just with more defined eyebrows and more prominent skin texture. Also I couldn’t resist giving her subtle smokey eyes makeup.

Pictures above were taken in ME2, here how it looks in MELE2:

As you can see, most of the details were eaten by the game shaders, but I think it still looks better than vanilla, so here it is. Enjoy!

Have you ever wanted to…

Find saves for the specific characters you want to share/upload/modify more easily

Backup only a specific character’s saves after you finish a playthrough

Free up space in your saves folder when you’re getting close to the save limit by keeping only specific characters (without launching the game)

Any combination of the above

This will make all of that a lot easier!

All it does is copy your saves from Bioware’s save folder and paste them into a backup location of your choosing, sorting the files by character name into their own individual folders.

As noted in the mod requirements you need to install the Save Editor before using this. See mod page for more details.
