Hey, I usually experience a lot of lag as wel on krita, but don't have that problem on autodesk sketchbook (which is free!) so maybe it's worth trying out for you too. And yeah a drawing tablet works really counterintuitive at first, but you'll get used to it the more you draw and you'll get quicker too, so it's worth the time spent ❤ Good luck and thanks for making all the lovely atla fanart!

thank you!! I actually messed around with krita a bit and got rid of most of the lag but ill check out auto desk sketchbook too! Yeah i’m still getting used to it I feel like I don't even know 99% of the tools in krita to make drawing easier lol aside from the layer function, I still treat it like MS paint 😅

Song has a really simple character design, but I think that’s what makes it so hard to get right. She’s been like 80% finished for the last 3 days lol I just keep on going back make small changes. And now I've decide to add a lil background. I chose pink magnolias! She should be done by later tonight. Also I’m shocked at how many followers I've gained even though I've been kinda inactive for the past 10 days. Thanks so much!!

I haven’t given up on this blog guys I've just been very distracted by all the political and protesting stuff I have had to do in regards to COVID in my area and I haven’t been able to concentrate on art because I’ve been writing up lots of letters and petitions and my mental health has been in the dumps. I’m sending them all out by Tuesday though and then I should have some free time to start drawing again. Thanks for following :) Please send me requests tho!

Hi guys this is VERY important

I know this is not avatar related but there’s a serious public health issue going on in my area. My county has decided to reopen retail, dine in, churches almost everything and yet they still REFUSE to make masks mandatory, even though every single county surrounding us has stayed in lockdown and made masks mandatory. This means that idiots here and in other counties will all flood to our shops and restaurants without masks, causing an outbreak that our area will not be able to manage. Many residents here are low income and minorites and they are most at risk, our officials don’t give a fuck about us and claim that masks aren’t proven to work!(LIES) Here is a petition demanding that masks be made mandatory in our county and it really needs more signatures :( This is life or death for us. If you guys could sign it it would mean the world to me. You don’t have to give your actual name, or location. You can use any of these zipcodes and cities from my county

Y’ALL my decrepit POS laptop crashed again and I was like “whatevs I saved my art file twice” and when I reopened Krita to open up my file again, it wasn’t there. Its as if I had never saved it at all. But I know I saved it. This is the second time this has happened to me with Krita and I just-

No It took a long time for me to find a good reference for a pose I wanted to do on google images and I had it open on a tab but now it says theres an error and I can’t access the pic :(

I used to but now I’ve been getting used to drawing on Krita with my new tablet! So my art in this blog is a mix of MS Paint and Krita and occasionally traditional art. Thanks!
