I would have liked to warn myself that it’s okay to change, and grow as a person and an artist. Who you are now, isn’t who you are going to be forever. You can’t beat yourself up for changing. You are allowed to grow and it is also part of being a woman.

I don’t believe people who say they’re themselves all the time. There are very few artists I know who are true to themselves in their media persona. I’m genuinely myself and I think I’d attribute that to a lack of fear.
