Do you have any thoughts on Auligura (August x Caligura)
Okay this is super late I'm sorry!!! Somehow notifications absolutely didn't show me this?? No idea if you'll see it after so much time but oh well.
Yeah so about the pairing, no thoughts, I just dislike it like any pairing with Caligura haha. I don't see termina as a story and setting that overall could be a base for all these ships and pairings.
Also these specific types of pairing are against my religion anyways so yeah, lol.
Also I hope there's someone out there still doing content with him because I ain't been checking for the past two months lol. Changed fandoms completely sry.
Well, if I mentioned it in the previous one then why not talk about it more now? With no further ado, let's go.
(Yes that little post took longer than it should, sorry!)
First of all, yes, him being pale doesn't really have any proof in canon. As in Miro's style everyone is fucking pale. I know that it's not only mine hc that he's one of the actually pale, so I'll say why I'm personally headcanon it that way.
That's pretty much related to his amazing style of total white. And that nickname of "Count Dragul", that's clearly a reference to the count Dracula, and vampires is pale, as we all know! So him being pale may not be a necessity even with those facts, but it is indeed a nice addition. And I just really like vampires, "Dracula" of Stoker especially, so yeah I just couldn't ignore such interesting implications here.
Also working with a character that is black and white in colours with mostly *white* and not black is new to me. I'm too used to my emos and goths, some white goth is nice for a change.
Now about my thoughts on why he even would be so pale? As I said before, I hc him being sickly and all that. That is something that has been with him since childhood. Very bad genes of parents find their home in him so he struggled with iron deficiency and later anemia for all his life. And he does not really love to be under the sun(bro is the type to have an umbrella rather in the sunny weather than in the rain) so it's all come to this.
And I very much love the idea that he embraced that paleness! He understood pretty fast that his looks can make a way for some unique style, and he indeed love to stand out. Also turning weakness into strengths is a very productive thing overall.
Also like to think that, since I hc him also with makeup, he uses it to make his face paper pale, not wax pale. He looks just sickly that way, that may work for some of the style choices but still he just doesn't like to look sick overall, also all these visible veins, ugh. Not the best looks yeah.
How hard it is to make the right tone for the foundation will be discussed later...
Yeah that's the first theme. It what catches the eye the first time you're unfortunate enough to look at him. So yeah I'll drop my thoughts about him being fatty(and whatever metamorphosis happenes with it through his different game sprites. Miro is truly consistent in his inconsistency). Under the cut all the fun.
Okay first of all, I'm kind of a faker because I actually headcanon him being not just fat but with muscles also. My main concept is him going from unhealthy skinny to somewhat normal weight, with muscles included because lots of physical work, to unhealthy fatness while still maintaining worked on muscles. That's why I draw(at least try to) him with big arms also - it's mostly muscles here! Fat people, unless they are extremely overweight and look like a blob, don't have that much fat on the arms ya know.
Also okay yeah he's not that much of an unhealthy overweight, it's still something that can affect his mobility but still it's not that much of a deal. I hc him himself looking at it as a medieval peasant thinking that being fat means you're rich and can enjoy all sorts of tasty and fat food. So he's pretty much okay with the fact he's not some skinny legend, he had his time looking like it so it's time to try new things.
Oh and also he's big on all sorts of pills and drugs(being pale as a vampire ain't coming without a reason, but that's a theme for another post teehee) that makes his weight gain not the best, also not to mention just the fact he's old and sickly so fat came naturally. He's pretty big on style but I don't think he's some sort of obsessed-with-being-forever-young type. Especially since he's in the mafia, there's a shit ton of old men that still look neat, so he had a good example of aging with grace and acceptance.
But that's about what he thinks of himself, but what about others pointing it out? Well, if to ignore the fact it's pretty rude to say someone you just met "You're fat lol" overall, and the fact that it's not like anyone would say it to face of someone like *him*, let's talk about the scenario where that call out happens in some sort of friendly atmosphere. Good acquaintances, colleagues, drinking buddies, all three at once and all that. I see it as something depending deeply on his mood. He may ignore it and give it a laugh with sarcastic "Yeah bro I fucking know", or he may still give it a laugh but it would quickly turn into target practice with a gun he always have near. Did he do it because he found that rude? Not funny? Too much bravery to joke like that for someone not so close to him? Who knows, it may be some of these, some of others or not anything at all. But one thing is true in any scenario - he doesn't find it sincerely funny so the better choice is to fuck off that type of humour. At best he’ll ignore it but at worst...yeah.
But there are things worse than just some jokes. It's intentional try to get a conversation on the theme of the diets and especially active sports. A person may not even mean it, but Caligura(it's the first time I'm mentioning his name here, for some reason? Lol) is already felt personally attacked so conversation will not go pleasantly from that moment. He may not raise hands just now but he still would be visibly pissed. How much of his annoyance shown depends on how important the person he speaks to, of course.
With all that said, he still tries to wear clothes that are not too revealing or making an accent on his fatass parts, he knows silhouettes shit and he still can find a way to make it look like he has a waist! Which he seems to have if to look at his full body battle sprite lol. He's really only fat on his portrait, his full body looks even pretty normal. Can be pretty much related to the fact that Miro, it seems, ain't doing any anatomical sketches beforehand, but still. In his pantless version of that sprite his legs are not so skinny so I guess it still counts? I prefer to think about it that way.
Overall saying I like the idea of him being fatass because I like fat guys found that pretty realistic to his position in lore and even sort of charismatic detail of him, ya know. And yeah okay I love fat guys, but that's not the first of all reason okay? Okay. Also it makes his chest more big and squi- ok bye send post.
I'm having even less time than before because fucking final grade at the college, but after miracle of resurrection leaving that blog with little to no content is too sad. So now I'll do text posts with my shit tons of headcanons of my beloved bastard! Yay!! :D

Anyways, not sure about how regular even lame text posts will be, I'd want them to be once per day since they're not that big so I'm writing them pretty fast. But yeah I want too much so at least one per two days would be not bad. I guess.
These text posts will not be really structured, I'll just choose some "Theme of the day" and write my thoughts about it, yeah. But! I'll try to structure the themes themselves, by going from something on a surface then more and more deeper in the headcanons pit and all that.
Maybe there'll be at least a few people who would want to read it, so stay tuned.

Anyways, not gonna lie, I deeply dislike all those “playable [character name]” mods. I’d better scroll Miro’s twitter answers in hope to randomly get some crumbs of Caligura info than to play just some person’s headcanons.
That’s why I’ve always been surprised that people in some way interested in my content here, I’m making too much hcs, no? I personally don’t like too much of them, I want elaboration of original ideas, or just straightforward analysis of canonical facts, not just random ideas. So yeah, no. Better nothing than that amateur performance. No offense to the mod creator of course, never played it and don’t plan to, just not interested in that sorts of things itself.
