Castle Rock s01e02: Habeas Corpus
Castle Rock ‘Severance‘
- What I keep wondering, all the smells we smell and the…songs and pictures‐‐ do you lose them all? I mean, wherever you go next, does the tape get erased? And if it does… you’re not really you anymore, are ya? - Is that what you’re afraid of? - That’s what I want.
CASTLE ROCK — 1. “ Severance ”
Give a man the keys to the dungeon. Tell him to lock up the monster. Or pin a star on his chest. Call him “Sheriff.” Maybe he succeeds a while‐‐ a year, a decade or two if he’s lucky‐‐ but evil outlasts us all.
CASTLE ROCK — 2. “ Habeas Corpus ”
castle rock ★ episode two ⇛ habeas corpus
Take any house in this town. Hell, take mine. Every inch is stained with someone’s sin. I lie awake at night thinking about all the blood spilled under my roof alone. People say, “It wasn’t me. It was this place.” And the thing is, they’re right.

Castle Rock (2018)
I am absolutely ecstatic for this series.
The 10-episode show will interweave stories from the horror maestro’s oeuvre, all set in Castle Rock, the fictitious Maine town where King set many of his freakiest novels.
Plus, @thelovingdread said he’ll watch them all with me :)

Between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. is usually when I get up. I’ve always been a night person. There’s a sense of virtue attached to getting up in the morning and doing things and starting the day, and I always felt bad for not being that person. But as I’ve gotten a bit older, now I’m completely okay with it. That’s just who I am.
ALL WE KNOW ABOUT THE CASTLE ROCK SERIES SO FAR
In the cast, we will meet Andre Holland ( American Horror Story ) in the role of the lawyer Henry Deaver. Melanie Lynskey ( Togetherness ) will play Molly Strand, a real estate agent who will struggle to make sales as all homes in the city seem to have been the target of something terrible. Jane Levy ( Suburgatory) will be Jackie, the unofficial historian of the city. Terry O'Quinn ( Lost ) will play Dale Lacy, a local rich man. Bill skarsgard , who starred Pennywise in IT this year, and Sissy Spacek, who was the heroine of Carrie, will also be part of the project. Bill Skarsgard will play the role of Shawshank’s inmate, while Sissy Spacek takes on Ruth’s mother, Henry Deaver’s mother, whose memory problems may be the key to Castle Rock’s troubling past. Scott Glenn ( The Leftovers ) will be Alan Pangborn, sheriff of Castle Rock from 1981 to 1991, and character appeared in the novels as well as the films The Dark Half and Needful Things.

‘Castle Rock’ sets modernized for upcoming filming
Facades that were once made to look old-fashioned for “Castle Rock,” a series inspired by the works of horror writer Stephen King, were jazzed up with vibrant colors on Tuesday and the fake storefronts depicted businesses specializing in sushi, yoga and other commodities that might appeal to consumers in the 21st century.

Bill Skarsgard’s Castle Rock Character Connects the Series to Shawshank IT star
Bill Skarsgard is set to play an inmate in Shawshank Prison on the upcoming Hulu series Castle Rock.
Formerly best known for starring in the Netflix horror series Hemlock Grove, the 27-year-old Skarsgard rocketed to superstardom this fall for his portrayal of iconic villain Pennywise the Dancing Clown in director Andy Muschietti’s blockbuster theatrical adaptation of Stephen King’s gargantuan novel.
A smash with both critics and audiences, IT has so far grossed more than $650 million worldwide on a budget of only $35 million.
Castle Rock is of course also based on the work of King, although it’s not an adaptation of any particular story. Instead, Castle Rock is an original drama set within the established King multiverse, and will feature references and ties to famous King tales. The titular town is a recurring setting for King’s fiction, appearing in stories like The Dead Zone, Cujo, and Needful Things.
