I'd be remiss to not post my own response so :yaby:

I love Iyozane a lot. As a fellow abuse victim who later turned into a broke loser, it really does bring me a lot of hope to see them trying to live their best life despite the circumstances.

But at the same time it's very fun to make fun of all the ways they're a loser. They were talking such shit in RMI but in BPoHC they've been forced to humble out. Except they'll still talk mad shit if the situation calls for it. No matter what they'll make fun of Tenkai for looking like a melon and there's no way they don't know who they're messing with. They just don't care.

They have a lot of audacity and it makes them fun.

"They used to want to be a pirate, but gave up and became a boater. Boating stopped being a viable business after a while so they decided to join up with this person who wants to overthrow the dynasty.

By the way, they used to be the heir to that dynasty before getting euthanized (this word was chosen for comedic effect but it's not incorrect) and then came back under yet-to-be-explained circumstances.

Nowadays they're in debt because they tried to get free labour out of a scoundrel.
