It's been so long since I've updated on this blog, but congratulations my favourite boy for making your way to 3D after all this time, since your scrapped 3D game!!!

It's what you deserve, and I can't wait for Spring of 2022!!!

On that note, I'm going to try drawing Kirby daily once again, hopefully not forgetting this blog exists... so the ask box as been cleared!

Your blog makes my day better, any time i need a pick me up i come to your blog. I wanted to ask when did you start drawing kirby?

[M.L]: Oh, I’m so glad that my blog helps you out! And oh man… that’s a great question. I think I started about three, four years ago? I was always a big Kirby fan in my youth, but I don’t think I really started to draw him until my freshman year of high school. He’s an easy character to draw, so I find myself drawing him on my margins of homework or any assignment I have really, haha!

[M.L]: It’s here--the Story Side of DailyKirb! I’m really excited to share this story with you guys--considering that this story has been knocking around my brain for a few months now.

To get us started, there’s a couple of things I need to explain about how this’ll work. First off--technicals!

This will still remain as a DailyKirb blog first and foremost. I will be posting art of our adorable puffball (...rather, I’ll try--) every day under the DailyKirb tag. The Story Side of DailyKirb will tagged under “DailyKirb!SS”, so you guys are free to blacklist the tag if you don’t want to see the Story Side of the blog.

Secondly--the Story Side will be a flowing story with an “end game” so to speak. A complete story from start to finish! However... I only have an idea of generic plot points to move the story along. This is where you guys come in!

Your asks and your input will change how the story will end.

I will say it right now--you can consider DailyKirb!SS to be a sort of... rewrite, I suppose of Star Allies? Kind of? But until we get the party started, that’s all I can really say. I hope you guys stick around for this mini-experiment, and thanks for being patient!
