Drove to Bournemouth this evening for New Year, which was fun; Emily’s house is pretty cool and made for a good location, and the lot of us ended up sleeping at around 6am.

Went to Chippenham today for general bits and pieces, and we went to Viva La Pizza for dinner (I had the usual) and watched a couple of films at home; I more or less finished another track I’ve been working on and the project is overall coming together.

Visited the grandparents briefly prior to our gig at Lennon’s; the set went well and we managed to make some money off the fruity which was entertaining to say the least; interestingly, everyone’s favourite person wasn’t present, to our surprise.

Felt pretty horrific today as a result of the amount of wine I consumed last night; after a quick band practise, the rest of the day was spent at home, predominantly sleeping.

Blasted some Yellowcard on the way home and sung loudly enough to kill my voice for a few hours; Emily’s dinner party was very sophisticated and full of entertainment, and I have decided I should wear a jacket more often.

Generally chilled today and inspired myself to make some music but didn't actually make any; listened to Future Islands and JVM, both of which are pretty good albums, and proceeded to eat a repeat of last night, and again, way too much; dinner was accompanied by some interesting familial conversation.

This year’s Christmas has been a slightly odd one, in the sense that it has completely snuck up on me, and felt somewhat anticlimactic; none the less, the day was enjoyable, and I ate far too much food.

Didn’t really feel like Christmas Eve today, but I wrapped up the last of my shopping, and was introduced to House, which I feel is perhaps a natural progression from Scrubs; drove to Corsham late evening and prepared for the big day.

Finalised some Christmas shopping today luckily, and then we headed to Weeke for pre-Christmas which was pretty fun overall, especially considering we ordered a stuffed crust Dominoes.

Attempted some Christmas shopping today but did not manage to find anything, so I will look tomorrow in Winchester.

Took a trip to Guildford today (I felt pretty grim and debated a tactical chunder in a petrol station) to try some guitar pedals; I didn’t find what I was looking for really, but there was a consolation prize of a Subway to be had.

Got up way late today, grabbed a four of Stella from the co op in an attempt to get in touch with my inner lad, and power walked to Ben’s; we headed to the pub after, saw Mason, and then I headed to a Varley party with Pete, which was a bit odd but enjoyable none the less.

Chris had a pizza night tonight, which was pretty enjoyable, and I stayed at Anna’s and we watched Cuckoo before bed which was entertaining.

There was somewhat of a hair mishap yesterday, so we took a trip into town to rectify it, although this didn’t especially work unfortunately; finished a new tune, and went drink-free to the pub, which was fun and Alfie’s was good.

Headed to Chris’s house today to begin work on new material; things are coming along nicely.

Today was an Aldi feast day, although it was not the best; I remembered how delicious the picnic was, and I desire to do it again.

Took a brief trip to town today and ate a McDo with Hutchins, and the lot of us went to the pub in the evening; good to see everyone for defs.
