I think we are in a really interesting time in this industry that isn’t necessarily that positive that’s making people understand the value of individual voices and specifically the value of actors’ voices and their contributions to that. I haven’t had anybody directly silence me or tell me to stop, but the subtext is always there. I worked for a corporation for four years that is known for silencing and crafting your voice, so with that I just had to very much stand my ground and separate myself, which I think I did. It’s nice now because now people don’t really recognize me from the show, they recognize me from my activism, which has been very comforting.

For me and other people my age who speak out, [it’s like], “Oh my god, her age—wow.” But for my generation, we just always have had the access to these things. I feel like the teens on the Internet are very dedicated to making sure people understand what they’re talking about, so that it’s not just buzzword-y.

introducing the girl meets world network!

this is a network for the creators in the gmw fandom, where all creators can share their original content in a safe, happy place that supports all fans of the show. there will be no ship wars, no discourse, no hate whatsoever – just people appreciating the wonderfulness that is girl meets world, and helping to keep the fandom alive.

the girl meets world tag is so dead now fjjcjfj and even for the cast members like rowan or sabrina cmon i’m missing the new gifs and edits in general :( remember the days when people would be frantically searching for torrents for the new episodes and it would legit be a race to gif the episodes…!!
