looking back through your blog and just wanted to say KonoMofu is still doing everything ppl complain about here, just piled everything into one big post and is constantly trading everything they get.

has anyone else had any negative interactions with KonoMofu? they seem to be okay to trade with but i'd put up a dainty i had for sale which they responded to almost immediately, claiming it was for their spouse bc it was their spouse's dreamie. they were really responsive up until i asked them for their paypal email so i can send them an invoice. they never replied back to my DM yet i see them online & posting on th/discord since then.

for better or for worse dainties has the elasticity of a rubberband. the group bounces between having little to no interactions to absolutely jumping depending on the month. I hate to admit but the incorporation of basals did increase the server for a little while but now that hypes died down the slow crawl downwards is inevitable until the next big thing comes along to be introduced to rake in everyone again. ex: compare the recent auction to the initial one pajuxi didnt make nearly as much

theoretically speaking what are they gonna do if u use a CB slot to create a 'fake-basal' dainty

truthfully i've always wondered why basals are even a thing. every single trait that basals have (excluding the stockings i suppose) can be replicated with what's allowed in a cb slot. imo basal rarity is unnecessary and are just gonna make cb myos more restrictive because "oops! this looks too much like a basal trait. go back and fix it."

the designs themselves being $250 apiece is enough of a turnoff even when u disregard the fact that u don't even get to see the whole thing beforehand lol. at least it wasn't another fcfs flatsale.

I like the ideas behind 3 & 14, even tho i think 14's outfit is butt-fugly and u will be hard-pressed to find some1 in dainties who can draw them w a similar vibe. preference-wise 6 is my favorite but I don't think u will catch me paying $250 for them. 1 & 2 are my least favorites bc istg every other dainty mod batch has a cutesy rainbow pastelish candy gore medical and/or black-and-red goth vampire bat designs and I am tired of seeing them. 7, 10 & 12 I don't like out of personal preference but power to u if u like them ig. 4 & 13 is giving designs that wouldn't have been sold for triple digits if it weren't called a dainty basal in the first place.

I don’t think the Basal batch needs to be completely horror themed. People get Horror and Halloween confused. Halloween wasn’t always “scary” and not everyone likes Horror or scary things. Halloween goes back to the Celtic religion. I love horror don’t get me wrong, but I don’t want to draw something people can’t all enjoy.

only one of the basal buckets has a very easy to miss body horror warning lable so i dont think the others are gonna be very horrory which is gonna be disappointing from a so called "halloween" batch :\

Personally, I wish the new basal batch had more Halloween colors and themes. Don't get me wrong, the traits so far sound pretty interesting. I made a prediction that the darker ones, i.e., blighted demon, mistress, pins, no guts, and spider dance. I also guessed that rats would be popular. I was surprised when ppl liked the knight, I went for one that I genuinely liked the traits of. But the baskets so far look pretty interesting, and the traits are very interesting! I would like to hear others' thoughts on it, thoughts that aren't an echo chamber, aka the dainty server.
