Clearly someone saw this blog and decided to do sumn about it cause now there’s a discussion post in the CS forums on Toyhouse that put pru on blast for the basal shit, godspeed to them 🫡

Personally i wouldnt spend more than 100$ on any of those basals i am not broke or anything but they do not look worth it.

I'm the anon who's been posting the TH pages of those who own basals.

If you hav been keeping up with this blog, you would realize that half the people who bought the basals are people who didn't have the money to do so, have previously complained to others about not having enough money (one of them literally had a GoFund me), complained to others over showing off their dainties (looking at Cryonics and their spam of showing their dainties off), etc., I can assure you that more than half of them truly could not afford that 1k.

For example: I can vouch for seeing Cryonics complain about vet bills/inability to afford things in another chat, but proceed to post their latest commission or OC on another chat.

I think the tracking/calling out for some of these people is justified, because unfortunately their hypocrisy/money spending actions is frustrating, confusing, or upsetting to people for multiple reasons.

The concept of basals is just so moronic (CB 2.0) and these reasons have been explained before. The fact that Pajuxi got away with making 6k in one blow (in comparison to the mods who do all the work) + spending that much on some PNG pixels when the money could've gone to literally anything else (rent, food, video games, schooling, clothing, figurines, anything of your fancy with 1k). Personally for me, that's what makes me uncomfortable (I'm sure not the only one), which is why I publicly post the basal profiles.

That's all though, and I do agree to each of their own! Maybe calling them morons is a step too far, but I think it lessens the blow of using words like irresponsible or fool.

theoretically speaking what are they gonna do if u use a CB slot to create a 'fake-basal' dainty

truthfully i've always wondered why basals are even a thing. every single trait that basals have (excluding the stockings i suppose) can be replicated with what's allowed in a cb slot. imo basal rarity is unnecessary and are just gonna make cb myos more restrictive because "oops! this looks too much like a basal trait. go back and fix it."
