Planes he can do – fine, great, whatever. He can patch a hole in a fuselage with scrap metal and spit, he can tune an engine by ear while half drunk and bleeding, he can land his crop duster with one wing screaming and the other hanging on by a fucking bolt- But Billy’s not a plane. And Trevor’s not a person. At least not one that knows how to handle something that breathes and bruises and loves.

Preface:

It wasn't strictly intended to become one, but this is turning into one hell of a long fic... And more of a character study of our dear Trevor, really. And because this author cannot keep things simple, it is a two fics in one, two chapters per posted chapter monstrosity...

We have dual timelines, the 90s/early 2000s in North Yankton and 2013 (although slightly canon divergent - obviously, with an OC...) and each chapter is split in two between Trevor's POV and Billy's POV. Which means although chapters seem agonizingly long (I'm sorry...), they can also be enjoyed in regular, roughly 5k word chapter lengths with very clear visual breaks in-between to help you keep your spot on the page if you need a(n understandable) break (except for two terribly long 2013 chapters, again I'm sorry).

As of right now, I recommend reading as it's being posted (alternating timelines), but once it's done (and it will be done. I'm loving it too much to abandon this thing.) you can choose your own adventure: alternating, 90s first and then 2013, or go wacky and read 2013 first and then go back in time - up to you!

I'm sorry for advertising this so frequently, but seriously, I'm loving writing this fic and am having trouble shutting up about it... Would love any kind of feedback, obviously, but just knowing people read it brings me immense joy, so 💖

And before anyone comes for me asbout the last chapter coming out a hot minute ago (for my standards), I'm sorry, life has been... It's been, alright? And my exams are in FOUR FUCKING WEEKS and they are going to KILL ME WITH THEIR TIME FRAME (seven five hour exams over the course of 10 days all handwritten for the love of all that's holy justkillmenow) - but once that's done, I am done, and fully locking back in on this.

Next chapter is half done, it's an emotionally heavy one though, so... Phew.

Fight, Flight or Flirt is a Choose Your Own Adventure game that is absolutely, disgustingly shameless Trevor Philips x female Reader smut.

I have nothing to say to defend myself... 34 different endings, ranging from fuck-all happening to you, well, dying (this does involve T, don't forget) and your goal is very simple: reach orgasm without dying.

Please note that, considering the character, some endings are grim. But fret not, I've worked in a guardrail you can follow so you can avoid any kind of ending you'd rather not blindly stumble into (e.g.: non-con, dub-con or straight death). There are a lot of tags, but since it's all in your hands: not all of them will apply to your play through (if any...)

Summary:

And I have figured out the issue with character limits I ran into yesterday (hence the extra post...). I've been using ellipsus, and for some god forsaken reason, it copies not only the formatting, but font styling too. So the HTML side of things was about 75% Times New Roman Code - and really, considering I use a workskin, I should've noticed that. So this one's on me...

But in case anybody else is using ellipsus, keep that in mind.

I love that writing tool, really, I do, but I could've done without the frustration.

Anywho, I have fixed that issue and put it all into one Chapter as intended:

Chapter 16: Promise

Have a little excerpt:

"Trevor," she snaps. "We've been over this." She leans her elbows on her knees, hands stilling around the gun, and finally looks him in the eye for the first time in hours. It's quite the irritated stare and Trevor's temper rises to match it. "I'm grateful you're doing this. Really, I am. But you heard Lester; we're three people, we can't take that shite your usual way. You might know how to steal and rob, but breaking into places quietly is my expertise, not yours. So excuse me for not taking advice from a guy who got made stealing from someone he personally knows, and his arse shot robbing a store unprepared." Trevor's mouth drops open for a retort, but before he can think of something clever, he gets distracted by Michael's renewed snorting. "Besides," she continues. "It's my arse on the line, so my word goes. I'm not gonna get caught, and neither are you. Put that earpiece in your ear. Initials from here on out." His jaw clenches and he sucks his teeth at her, but still does as he's told. He clips the little microphone to the collar of his shirt and roughly stuffs the little plug in his ear, clicking the little button on it once. It crackles against his eardrum, Billy's voice echoing through the earpiece, doubling the irritation it brings with it. "We are going in quietly, and we are going out quietly," she snaps. "L got me exactly what I need to crack that place open without raising a single alarm, and I'm sure as shit not letting you handle that. You'll just blow the whole harbour up like you did the tool shed." Michael fucking wheezes.

Yeah, all in all, Trevor's not having a great time in this one, so... Neither is anybody else.

Update:

I have... A little bit written, but not nearly as much as I had hoped for, so this might take a minute longer than expected.

That's partially because I spend most of my time sleeping right now (...), and because I am currently at my mother's having to fix a million things that aren't actually broken, eg:

- the TV stopped working! The batteries in the remote were dead,

- can you change that lightbulb in the wall sconce there? The thing has a separate light switch on the back. It was off,

- the speakers are fucked! Of course the sound is weird if you have the TV speakers and the big speakers on at the same time woman,

- I can't get to Netflix... It was working yesterday! That's because it's on a different HDMI port, you need to (as I previously showed you) switch the source, God f-

Lord help me.

In her defense, my dad used to handle these things and he had a pinch of the tism that led to him always getting the most complicated gadgets on the market and refusing to let anyone else touch them. And that fucker had the audacity to die (rude.) leaving me to handle it... I wrote her a TV handbook. 12 pages. Annotated pictures of each remote and step-by-step troubleshooting instructions.

Anyway- all this to say, I apologize for the further delay.

I just wanna say: Auntie Denise, I see you. From getting out of breath just by crossing your front yard, to crunches in your living room and spirit-walking away, perfectly at ease, I see you. And honestly?

Seven of those, five hours each, spread over the course of ten days and my brain is mush. I shall not pass, for reasons I won't get into. But I went to every single one, did not leave early once, wrote 12 to 21 pages per exam and (sorta) managed to (maybe) answer one or two things (half) correctly, so I deserve a participation award at the very least.

Anyway, my study group made me a shirt for my birthday (3 months ago.) that I was handed today in lieu of said participation award - which is how I was reminded I once told the one artistically inclined friend in my study group that I write Trevor fanfiction and... Anyway, face reveal. Kinda?

I'm off to drink myself into a stupor, sleep for a week straight and then I will hopefully be back to writing.
