also LOVED Ellis pulling Mel aside to reassure her in a way that didn't cause excess stress. Mel has anxiously mentioned "not being able to talk about it" multiple times this season to multiple different people and Ellis went "okay well we're not talking about it you're listening to me monologue" just to make sure she was offering her reassurance that would affirm her own belief in Mel AND the fact that she and Mel did nothing wrong. that they did that spinal tap perfectly and the aftermath had nothing to do with the tap. god I love Dr. Parker Ellis

I know the illustration for this one isn’t great, I worked on it endlessly but for some reason it was a real struggle. I was tempted to just delete it and post a chapter without an illustration but I decided to be brave and put it out there anyway. I’m a few months into learning how to do this. Digital art is HARD! Mad respect to the talented creators in this fandom. You all blow me away.

Hermione & Her Dragon

It’s been 5 years since the war and Hermione is still working tirelessly with the best curse breakers she can find to try and free Draco from his curse.

During the final battle for Hogwarts, Voldemort witnessed Draco saving Hermione from certain death at the hands of Fenrir Greyback. In retaliation and in punishment for his betrayal, Voldemort cursed Draco to live out the rest of his days as a Dragon. Hermione is desperate to repay him for saving her life and give him a second chance at his own and so she has devoted her life to his cause.

Draco lingers in the Forbidden Forest, slowly succumbing to his new form and forgetting the man he once was. He is cursed to live out the rest of his life as a Dragon and cursed to witness the heartbreak in Hermione’s eyes every time she comes to visit him without a way to save him.

Gradually the light is leaving her as she exhausts all of her options. She is losing him. He is losing himself. He can’t bear to witness or be the cause of her heartbreak and sadness any longer. He decides to leave whilst he still has the presence of mind to make that decision for himself and whilst he can be sure that he’s not going to forget who she is and risk harming her.

On silent wings he takes to the sky, flying over the Castle where Hermione sleeps soundly in the Faculty Tower. His silver tears fall against her window pane and leave glistening tracks in their wake.

Hermione stands in the empty clearing of the Forbidden Forest and calls and calls for Draco. She stumbles through the darkening undergrowth, eyes blurry with tears as she screams for him until her voice is hoarse.

“How dare you give up on me, Draco Malfoy!” she howls into the wind. “How dare you give up on us.” Her voice breaks on the final word as all of her hopes and dreams shatter around her.

I just love a proud, protective Alpha Neville with a Bratty, Pregnant Omega Pansy!
