The movie has been out for a month & I haven't seen anyone talking about this parallel: In the first film, Nick leaves Judy after their argument at the press conference because he felt like she didn't believe in him. In the second film, Judy reveals to Nick that she doesn't believe in herself, & that Nick is the only one who ever did. I think because of this, it hurt Judy that much more when he told her she needed to quit. If the only person who believes in her is now telling her she can't do it, then maybe she really can't-- And because they didn't get a chance to talk things out before they were separated, I think Judy was under a false assumption that Nick no longer believed in her. My heart... 😭💔

2026 I Will Not Obsessively Ruminate On Stupid Bullshit That Makes No Sense And Is Not Real

I have OCD, this year I WILL ruminate on things that don't matter. I will fall into pits of spiraling thought of what could, could not, has, will, wont, and might happen.

The reasons and questions will haunt me incessantly, and I will catch myself, set my mind on a better path, and keep going.

I will forgive myself for the way I am, and when I look back on this year, I will remember how much worse at living in my own mind I used to be. I will feel deep pride, and as I reflect on the flaws I still carry, and the new ones I have yet to uncover, I will look forward to the growing I still get to do next year, and the year after year after year after that.

A new year, a new cycle, a newer person each and every day.
