Cartoon Girl Turned Real Life Series - The Loop

This project has been 7 years in the making. I first started playing around with illustrations over photos for small fashion labels after I graduated university. I’ve always been passionate about it but couldn't justify doing it for myself, just for art sake. I’ve always felt that my brain exists in a cartoon fantasy-land, but my body is trapped in reality. So I decided to become a part of my artwork. The photographs are taken by myself, then ran through photo editing program Lightroom, then exported to photoshop where the concept is digitally illustrated over the image.
